Anyone watch InuYasha? if you don't know what it is, then here is the summary to the anime from animereq.com:

 

Plot Summary: Higurashi Kagome, after being pulled down
a well by a demon, finds herself in Feudal Japan, where she learns that
a powerful jewel has been reborn inside her body. After the jewel
shatters in an attempt to retrieve it from one of the many demons who
was after its power, Kagome must join forces with the half-demon Inu
Yasha (also after the jewel's power) to track down the shards of the
jewel before its power falls into the wrong hands.

 

there you have it. anyway, if you HAVE watched it (completely,) or have began watching the show, let's discuss it here.

I used to watch it but only bits and pieces and the movies. Should get around to getting it in full someday.

 

I would suggest taking that link out of your post though. Promoting and assisting piracy is against most Terms of Service on forums and you could get yourself and/or the forum in trouble for it.

I used to watch this show all the time, before I even knew about Naruto or Dragonball Z. Watched it always at midnight on Toonami so worth it.

Honestly, it looks like a pretty good show, but I've never gotten around to watching it, or reading any of the Manga. It's on the short list of Anime's I want to watch.

Well they never did finish the thing until a couple of years ago, so it's actually not to late for that one.

 

I watched the thing, but still preferred Ranma 1/2 over Inuyasha to be honest. So long ago that was, but It's still one of those anime's I enjoy revisiting once in a while.

Inuyasha--possibly the most bearable character in the show, next to Sango.

 

 2) did you like the anime? do you remember anything worth discussing?

Yes/No. The show itself dragged on and was a stretch. Looking for a shattered gem that could, in all honesty, never be fully made again. The main antagonist, Naraku was kind of disappointing--he was just like Darkseid. "I'LL NEVER DIE--AND YOU CAN'T MAKE ME." But--the love story between Kagome/Inuyasha was great. It was very deep, very adorable. Out of everything, I'd so it's a great LOVE story, and a DECENT action anime.

 3) do you think this topic is worth it?

Yes/no--depends on how you view the show.

dude. i watched Toonami when it was still Fox Kids.( that bit of knowlage may be wrong...) what was Fox Kids before...? oh, the Fox Box. such weird but awesome shows.. and who here agrees they should get Jetix back? seriously, i used to love that channel.

No worries, friend. I don't personally mind how you watch your shows but do be mindful of forum Terms of Service. Even if MLPForums doesn't specifically say it the host site might have rules against it which could affect us anyway.

 

And I think Toonami has always been Cartoon Network, hasn't it?

Back in High School, I used to get up super early to watch this on Adult Swim. This was really the first anime I watched outside of the obligatory Pokemon/Digimon phase. I tkind of set the standard for me after that. The next one I watched was Fullmetal Alchemist then Code Geass.

Oh, Inuyasha. A couple years ago, I started to read the manga. I got up to volume 18 before I left it. Gave up on it when I realized that there were 56 volumes...As for the anime, I have seen a few episodes of it. I mainly read the ani-manga series.

growing up with a big sister who foces girly anime i had to watch it and get hooked or do something useful with my childhood. I ain;t gonna lie i was pretty jealous of Inuyasha. Haven't watched alot of the ending episodes. I left after the second movie came out and after the RPG for the PS2 came out. so i have no idea if Inuyasha got the shards back or not...Im pretty sure they were 25% complete with restoring the jewel.

I've been watching Inuyasha for years. It is one of my favorites. Inuyasha is my favorite character, followed by Kagome then Miroku. I've been counting down until they release the second half of The Final Cut in English. I saw it in Japanese, but I'm a dork like that.

Shippo is adorable. He really is. I think that the only one that can rival his cuteness is Inuyasha as a kid, who we meet in flashbacks. Now little Inuyasha is cute.

Hm. That's actually a good question. The animation makes it hard to the characters to unattractive. Well, unless they aren't actually human like Jakken.
