Somber didn't realize that there were other ponies around when he finished his song, and he dropped his guitar off on the table. He dashed up to the top of a bookshelf, getting back in his ball, but not covering his head up or shaking... He was just scared...

Hank nods "well i love to play music, i like to read, i am a fighter only if i have to be. the AIs i have let mr do magic but only a certain amount."

 

Twilight is shocked "somber.. please stop being so afraid. We will never hurt you."

Rocket was a little bit offended by the princess answer, (what was that suppose to mean? I'm not cut out for the army?) he thought to himself. He looked at himself, (actually, she's right, I don't think I could be in the military)

 

Sam was curious about hanks AI's "if you don't mind me asking, how do the AI's work? I've never seen any like that"

Somber had decided to do something unexpected. He slid down the shelf, and landed back onto his hooves, looking worried, but still remained calm. He was the same silent, depressing pony that he was, but he was still completely calm. He looked over to Twilight, not saying anything.

Celestia smiles "maybe hank could train you if you want to but it is risky."

 

Hank nods "well. my AIs are like little sections like logic, love, failure. Etc. And they affect how i act. I hear 13 voices in my head and i dont sleep if they dont sleep. They can appear as holograms looking like me abit and they can talk and watch whatever happens"

 

Twilight smiles "somber. Can you come here?"

Somber was basically too scared to move at this point, and he had shook his head in disagreement, still standing in the same exact spot from where he landed. It was pretty obvious that Somber wasn't going to budge from his spot one bit. Not a single bit.

Twilight heard talking downstairs as she went back downstairs to check "somber.. is that how you feel? We wont hurt you at all. We are not bullies we will defend and protect you. Just give us a chance ok? We wont bully you. She yawns "im surprised you two are still here."

Lightning shrugged. "I needed to take a break after landing badly, so I figured I'd hang around here for a bit. Not to read; don't take it the wrong way but books really aren't my thing. Flying is. I just wanted to make sure that Somber was alright. He seems scared of us for some reason."

Twilight nods "well. You are like Rainbow Dash. Just give a book a try. i recommend the daring do series, they have a lot of action and its an adventure book." She smiles and looks at Somber. "Somber.. would you want to play some music with hank? Im sure you can get to be comfy near each other."

Sam was intrigued with the AI's "I work with ponies brains all the time, an I've never heard of those. That is incredible! Who came up with the idea of doing that?" Sam asked, completely into the conversation with Hank.

Celestia smiles "well just think about it." She smiles as she finishes the cake "i love cake."

 

Hank smiles "well it was Celestia's idea of giving them to me to keep me alive. They also enhance things bt im not sure how to control it yet so i dont use it. Maybe you can see them?"

Somber had just nodded his head in disagreement, slumping downwards. He didn't like it when his music was out in the open. Or especially if it wasn't heard by other ponies... It made him feel embarrassed. Although still scared, he stood there calmly, but depressed.

Twilight smiles "you talk about how you feel? well you shouldn't feel like that around us. We won't hurt you.. you remind me of my brother's music.. he plays songs about his life.. its really sad. But i am here and so are his friends and now you need our help! we are here for you!"

Somber looked a little down to the ground, scruffing one of his hooves against the hardwood floor. He just wanted to speak out, but he couldn't... ((Should be obvious that he prefers to be a mute at this point, though I still would like to see who can make him speak.))

Twilight looks at him "you are afraid to talk to ponies... but you can sing... if i play or try to play the guitar.. will you sing along?" She smiles trying to think of a way to get him to talk. "you have an amazing voice.. is it ok if i can hear it again? maybe you can talk?"

Somber looked all around, trying to find a way not to talk with Twilight or anything. He would want to be by himself, but this was a chance to be around ponies... He sighed, and took in a deep breath, before speaking out in a really small very quiet voice.

Twilight leans closer "huh? what did you say? You are just like Fluttershy.. she is so quiet! can you please speak up? Cause.. maybe.. you and Hank and all of the others can become your friend. Everypony needs friends. After all friendship is magic." She smiles happily

Did Twilight really have to make him speak up? Somber preferred not speaking at all, but this was ridiculous. He took in another deep breath, exhaling, and finally speaking, but slightly louder.

 

"Hi..."

 

He gulped at hearing the slightly louder voice. He didn't like it.

twilight sighs "a bit louder? i know you can do it. Do it for me, and all the others that wants you to be their friends." She smiles "pleaseeeeeeee." She gave a big smile as she leans towards him to hear him speak "your voice sounds so good. please speak." She giggles

Somber sighed again. This was really starting to get old by making him speak louder. He blushed whenever his voice was complimented. And so, he took in a final deep breath, exhaled and spoke one last time. This time it was at a regular speaking voice.

 

"Hi..."

"alright I will, but I don't know if I could" then he looked down at the crumbs of his cake, "that was really good cake."  he looked over to hank, "I would like to see them"

 

Sam smiled, "yea, me too, hank. just in case you come to me with some head problems" she gave a smile to hank and rocket, she liked the thought of being the specialist in ponyville, back in canterlot she was just a face in the crowd of head specialist's.

Hank nods as he smiles and 13 holographic ponies appear on the table, each one a different color and about 6 have a dfferent look, sigma, creativity, the one that is orange and on fire smiles "hello." He said his voice calm but the second voice sounded evil.

 

Soon a hologram pony that looks exactly like Hank walks to the center of the table "sons, daughters, get in line, they just want to see you." they all go in a line. ((ooc: if you want me to describe the AIs i might do it..., and i love your profile pic marsh)

Sam and rocket's jaw hit the floor, they were simply stunned by the technology,

 

"what do you.... ponies do?" sam asks, trying to figure out how these AI's keep her and rockets new friend alive and well. she was looking back up at hank, making sure he wasn't straining himself

Somber was blushing harder when Twilight hugged him, and looked back to her once she started blushing. This time, he chose to talk in the first quiet voice.

 

"It's... Ok..."

 

After that, he did something unexpected. He hugged her back, backing away, and sitting on the ground.

Twilight is surprised "wow.. im surprised.. you hugged back.. so do you think that you can talk to my brother when he gets back?"

 

the one in the center of the table smiles. "well i am the alpha, i control all of them and they came from me, there is delta which is Logic and he is the green hologram, epsilon which is memory and he is the blue hologram, theta which is Trust and she is the purple hologram, there is also sigma which is creativity and he is the orange hologram who is also on fire , there is Charlie which is love and he is the gold hologram. There is also Omega, Omega is grey/steel colored and is also known as O'Maley who is anger and he makes Hank angry. There is Beta who is Steel and she represents Failure. there is zeta who is yellow and she represents bravery. Gamma is really light blue, he has no face, and is kind of blurred, he represents deceit. Iota representing honesty and she is about orange yellowish with black cracks. Eta represents loyalty  cyan colored with black cracks."

sam thought she was starting to understand how the AI's Work,

 

"so you represent Hanks emotions and Psych?" she said

 

Rocket wasn't paying attention to what anypony was saying, he was just staring at the table at the tiny holograms that were actually talking back to them
