Now! What is The Black Book?(Spoilaz)

 In the last few seconds of The Crystal Empie Part 2, we saw a mysterious Black Book and the princesses nodding comme un patron assuredly. Now look closely...

 That book's cover has stars in swirhles.

  Swihrls.

 Stars.

Star Swhirl the bearded.

 And, out of all things, why does Twilight's cutie mark have to be a star? Why can't it be just a regular old sparkle?

 Now, what if that black book is written by Star Swhirl the bearded, is it a book of prophecy? And if it is, is it a book concerning a ceartain purple unicorn (For now) mare?

 My guess is that part of the prophecy was "reviving the fallen" (Luna) and possesing "great abilities that surpass the mighty" (The Elements of Harmony are stronger than all the villians, both in material and pony form". When Twilight fulfiled the prophecy, Celestia began watching her closely. After a prediction on how Twilight would save the royal family and would become part of it came true, Celestia and Luna disugised the next prophecy concerning The Crystal Empire as a test. Now that it has come true, The Royal Pony sisters now know who the prophesised one is.

First of all, welcome to the forums. Second, This actually makes sense. I mean, I think the whole cutiemark thing is a coincidence. Oh, and swirl has no 'h' in it. But, yea. Good thinking. I forgot all about the book. Stoopid me.

It's twilight's diary. Containing a number of embarrassing stories and party photos which she thought was lost forever when in fact Celestia stole it and is sharing it's contests with every pony in Equestria behind twilight's back. 

 

Who knows what it is. I feel safe enough to say that the book belonged to Star Swirl though

That theory makes a ton of sense actually. You have no idea how much this book has been bothering me. I suppose we will know soon enough.

 

Unless it is a book on proper Chapstick use. Can't rule that one out.

I think it's the royal account book. Celestia is grooming Twilight to eventually take over duties as Equestria's head of revenue and taxation. Ether that, or it's the Deathnote!

Who knows what it is? Since there is no canon for it- yet- there is nothing about this black book. It may just be a fakeout from Hasbro. But who knows?

 

If this isn't a farce, though, this theory does have some relistic qualities...

This theory does hold some ground. There are some missing plot holes, but that's just what If questions.

 

Now the question is what prophecy?

Was Twilight destined for something since she got her cutie mark? Or when she freed Princess Luna from her evil self?

 

Second what Exacly is this prophecy?

Is she going to do something important? Is she going to beat an evil enemy? I don't know

I think the book must be a book of some form of magical studies maybe. At first I thought it was going to be used by Luna to teach Twilight stuff or something, but now I think its possible it could just be a spellbook or possibly a prophecy book.

 

Maybe Hasbro just trolled us and the book will never get any use ever again .

This theory has been floating around for a while, I saw more than a few posts like this when the episode aired.

 

It's definitely plausible, I'm sure lots of us wonder what's in that book. I can't wait to find out!
