Hello there, have any of you ever done a cosplay? Any particular ones you want to do? How about cosplays other people did that you enjoy?

 

I don't know why, but I endlessly love Half-Life cosplays, especially HECU (My favorite video game antagonists ever).

 

 

 

 

I so wanna do a cosplay of HECU. And trust me, if I do it, I'll post pics of it in this thread, no worries.

I kinda did cosplay for Runefest in 2011 (Festival for Runescape). Loads of great cosplay there ^^.

Cosplay (???? kosupure^?), short for "costume play", is a type of performance art in which participants wear costumes and accessories to represent a specific character or idea. Cosplayers often interact to create a subculture centred on role play. A broader use of the term "cosplay" applies to any costumed role play in venues apart from the stage, regardless of the cultural context.

The only character I've ever cosplayed was Simon Henriksson from Cry of Fear, lol. Only had to buy a hoodie to be able to cosplay him, so.

 

Anyway, I've always wanted to cosplay the stalkers from STALKER or Metro 2033.

It's making a costume of a character from a video game/show/etc and (usually) posing for photos in said costume. Usually this is done for things like Comicon.

Yes, I've done quite a lot of cosplay.

 

I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to post any of it here though. So far nopony's seen my face! I've mostly done Disney and Final Fantasy, amongst a few others.

I have made one cosplay, but I haven't used it on a con yet and I don't have pictures on it. xD It's Kyoko Mogami from the serie "Skip Beat." I have a really long list of cosplays I want to do but I don't have the time or money to do them.

I plan to make a costume of john defoe as "the welder" from the chzo mythos series. It looks relatively easy to do for that particular character and yet I haven't seen that many people do a cosplay based off him. I think this is mainly due to obscurity, but it should be quite a bit of fun. I just need to find a welding mask, an orange apron and some fake blood...

I've already it mentioned plenty of times already, but so far, I've cosplayed as Daring-Do at EquestriaLA last November, and I'm in the middle of making a genderswap Lyra cosplay for the next EQLA (and as well as other conventions in the future). I'll show you a few pictures of the latter once it's near completion; most of it should be complete before the 23rd of March. As for my Daring-Do cosplay, I can't seem to find any good pictures of me and it online; and I'll have to buy a new set of pegasus wings from Yaya Han's website  (instead of reuse the wings that I made by hand) before going as Daring again, and of course taking a personal photo to show you guys.

I've cosplayed a lot! I am a Major Cosplay junkiieeeeeeeee~ I have yet to do a pony cosplay, but it's on my list :3. I don't know of any pony conventions in the area I live in (michigan) so it's like..WHAT IS PONYCOSPLAYWITHNOPONYCON? LOL.

My friends and I are all into that kind of thing.

Can't say we've ever cosplayed ponies, anthro or otherwise, but that might be in the books soon if we go to our local Brony con this year.
