tfw my langauge arts teacher wouldn't let me use burzum.org as a source for a research paper

Oh dude, I tried going on burzum.org once at school and it was blocked by the school district's filter. I was like "What the fuck?".

 

Call Me Maybe was one of the best pop songs in quite a while

I may be a metalhead (as you can tell by Destruction userpic) but I think "Call Me Baby" is a catchy tune. I like the chorus when it's like "Hey I just met you and this is crazy, but here's my number, so call me maybe?" xD

 

Oh boy, first what I said about Varg and now this.

Varg can "Call Me Maybe" anytime. He has the cutest smile ever in this picture (taken in court).

 

 

Also checked out "Det som engang var" a while ago. It's some good stuff.

I'm a somewhat old school metalhead myself (Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Dio), and I love pop music.  It's usually not musically complex or anything technically new or amazing, but I don't listen to Call Me Maybe for the same reason I listen to Painkiller or Fear of the Dark.  Pop music is fun, dumb, and catchy as hell, and I don't see anything wrong with that.
