Accent once again blushed, looking back at the window. "I'm heading back to Ponyville to rest. I've had a bunch of gigs in a row that I think I deserve to let my hooves rest for a while. You know that I mean?"

"You wouldn't know how much I know that feeling." Gazing out at the countryside, Jabber thought back to his latest excursions to Hoofington, Manehatten, Canterlot, even Appleoosa...and all the precious bits he had acquired along the way. Then the Royal Guard had to shake him down...typical elitist ponies.

 

"Can't say I've ever been to Ponyville. Nice city?"

Moonbeam inched along the wall nervously, until she saw Star Keeper fall as well. She pushed off of the wall gently, bending her knees and floating along with all of the dignity and grace of a cat being put in a bath. She stopped right in front of Keeper, and held out a hoof to help him up. "Are you okay?" she asked bashfully

 

Star Keeper bolted upright, almost instantly regaining his balance. "I'm okay, don't worry!" Good save, now you can clinch onto what little dignity you have left. "I was just...  having some problems...  with the...   Okay, I suck at skating. Obviously not a big secret as you've seen." Star Keeper attempted to move forward again, but was met by an old pal known as the floor. "Damn it!"

Star had just finished getting on her skates...after helping Moonbeam up of course.

She shakily got to her hooves and slowly made her way onto the rink, luckily there weren't many other ponies on the rink so they had lots of room to learn. She slowly pushed with her back hoof and smiled. "This isn't to tough." She muttered...but moments later she looked up at saw the mare from the bar...which of course made Star accidentally skate into one of the wall's of the rink.

Hop waved at the mare then flinched as she hit the wall. She quickly made her way to the mare. "You know ive heard its bad for your health to keep running into things." She said lending out a hoof to the mare with a smile. Now that she got a closer look she saw the mare was part zebra, part pegasus. *Interesting, ive never seen that before*

Hop waved at the mare then flinched as she hit the wall. She quickly made her way to the mare. "You know ive heard its bad for your health to keep running into things." Star blushed as the mare trotted over. "I um...yea...heh heh." She said quietly, taking the mare's hoof and standing up...well, she was still a little wobbly but she put her forehooves on the wall around the rink to keep herself balanced. "I uh...heh heh." Her blush got slightly worse as she tried to think of something to say.

*gotcha* Hop thought playfully to herself as she watched the mare struggle with words. "Im Little Hop, or you can call me Cadence. Which ever you prefer. And you are?" She asked seeing the mare clumsily stumble around. She was beautiful no doubt about that.

*gotcha* Hop thought playfully to herself as she watched the mare struggle with words. "Im Little Hop, or you can call me Cadence. Which ever you prefer. And you are?" She asked seeing the mare clumsily stumble around. She was beautiful no doubt about that.

She couldn't help but chuckle slightly at her clumsyness. "I'm...uh...not usually this clumsy." She said, chuckling again and positioning her back hooves so she wouldn't fall...which looked a little awkward...

Compared  the other skaters, they were still going slowly, but it was a good improvement for them. "This is actually a lot of fun, skating together like this."

"Oh, no, thank you! Without you, I'd be all over the floor too!"  she said with a giggle. She moved her legs a little more, causing them to go a little faster. Dusk made his way out of the stallions room and down the hall, back to the carriage Hop and Jabber were at when he left. 

When he returned to the doorway and looked in the room, he saw Hop had completely disappeared, and Jabber was sat talking to another mare at a different table. 

~'Told you~' Shadows voice teased in his head. 

"Drop it" he mumbled in response, somewhat saddened by what seemed to be the truth of Shadow's earlier statement. 

Lowering his head, he thought it best just to make his way back to his room, instead of returning to the car. It'd be easier to face them down later than walk back in there now. He turned around slowly, and began walking away, almost walking into a pair of ponies who where heading into the food carriage themselves.

Star felt rather surprised. First she felt heartbroken, then she felt slightly excited that she may actually have a chance with Hop...then she felt jealous of whoever else Hop likes. "I um...Sorry for just kinda...you know." She blushed and then...again, she slipped and fell right onto her rump. "I...I've never been roller skating before."

Star Rain looked inside and spotted some chessboards and other board games. Well, this is boring... "Hey, want to see another room? Unless you want to sit down and play chess all day?" she asked somewhat sarcastically. I wonder what else there is to do on this train? She looked up at Styles, wondering what his opinion on things is. 

"Ah, well thats what you get when you choose a door at random. Shall we move along then. We can't be the only ponies on the train after all." Styles was seriously wondering where everyone was. But he followed Star Rain. He trusted that she would find something of interest

Hop giggled for a second, "I can see that. Hey, later on if you want to have lunch i'll buy." She offered. Hop was both hoping she would say yes, and or no. She really wanted to get a clear shot at Dusk and break his shell but he seemed relly focused on not letting that happen.

Finding himself back outside his room, he let out a hefty sigh, before sliding open the door and trotting in. 

Not feeling in the best of moods, he didn't bother shutting the door behind him as he flopped onto the bed. Lying there, half on the bed and half on the floor, he began thinking about how things might unfold now he'd already lost his chance to make three friends. 

 

"Fiera's gone, Hop left and Jabber found someone else. Off to a good start Dusk..." he mumbled, burying his head in the sheets.

Upon seeing him blush, she began to blush as well. She smiled at him. "Yeah, I think so too." She was slowly getting better and better at skating, moving her skates in a a rhythmic, even way, synchronized almost perfectly with Star Keeper. They skated around for a while before he spied Star on the side of the roller rink with another mare. She looked...uncomfortable.

 

"Hey, Star Keeper. Do you see Star Song over there with that other mare? She looks nervous or something. Do you think we should go check on her?" she asked, concerned for her friend.

Fiera just finished her trip to the spa, and it wasn't quite as nice as the spa in Ponyville, but it was very nice. Her hooves shinier then ever, her mane and tail sparkling, her coat pristine clean, and she was feeling pretty good.  "Spa was totally worth leaving Dusk for half an hour. I should go check on him... I just hope he isn't being drowned in socialism right now" she thought out loud.

 

She went for the lounge first. Nope. Cafe? Nope. She searched EVERYWHERE... nope. The only place she hadn't gone was his room. She didn't think he was there because those two ponies had taken him away to do who knows what, and she didn't think they would be done already. But it was worth a shot at finding Dusk.

 

When she got to his room, she noticed the open door. She walked in and knocked on the door. "Anypony home?" she asked as she sat down in the chair and smiled.

Fiera laughed, she didn't expect him to be buried in sheets on his bed. "What did they do to you? Make a party in your honour and you left?" she asked, trying to get an answer from him. "I just hope they didn't go overboard"

Unholy heard the voices of other ponies, she twitched her ear as they spoke.

"can you lead me to the counter so i can order something?" Unholy whispered in Encore's ear, for some reason, she didn't want any of the other ponies to hear her.

Gosh... I wonder how many ponies are here... she thought.

Encore looked curiously at the group one more time before nodding, again realizing the ineffectiveness of the gesture a moment too late. "All right. Come on then," he said kindly, and just as she asked, he led her to the counter. Once they had approached it, Encore inclined his head, and mumbled, "It doesn't look like they have an awful lot of choice when it comes to tea, but it looks like they've got some of the better kinds here." He scanned the menu for a moment longer before requesting a small jasmine tea, and turned to look over his shoulder at the group still in the room. It looked rather smaller than it had first appeared . Some of the ponies might have left. But he did see that suspicious pony from earlier, now chatting up a green-maned mare, who seemed to retain Encore's gaze rather longer than Jabber did.  @, @@Kolth,
