What are bands you've recently discovered, like this year or something? Do you love them? Do they fill your heart with joy? What kinda music are they? are they awesome? I find I like these guys quite a bit. Also, I've gotten into the Joy Formidable and the Dirty Royals this year. Those are bands. Also, Broadway Calls, because they're from Oregon, and that's the best state in this great nation. Assuming everyone is from the US. Did I check to see if there were any threads were like this before I decided to make this thread? Is this thread gonna get closed? That'd be funny. I don't really even know what the rules are on these forums. Is there a thread or anything?

That's an awesome song, it's good to find somepony else with a bit of musical taste

 

 

I just recently found this band probably about a week or two ago and I can honestly say that I cannot stop listening to them! :3 I couldn't believe that I had never heard of them especially since they are a local band. They have such a kick ass sound! xD 

I literally say this every time that I mention them but...does anypony else really not think that the lead singer does sound a little like James Hetfield?

You would be right at home talking to my friend from back home. He was the metal head. Is. He hasn't died yet, thankfully. Anyhoo, this is pretty good. It's not really my style per se, because usually I'm more into the alternative rock stuffs, or punk. But this is pretty good. Maybe I'd like it. I like some metal :3 Anyhoo...

I find new bands and artists pretty regularly. Here's a couple I found this week.

 

Most of this guys songs are Dubstep, which I'm not in to, but he has two or three other tracks which are fantastic. 

 

 

I also discovered an awesome Black Metal/Post-Black Metal band. Technically, I've known about them (Or, him rather) for a while, but I only recently started listening to him.

I discovered this band today. They're from Greece and they play a black metal but with elements of thrash metal. Pretty sick shit if you ask me.

I had discovered this Danish and local pop rock band that are called A Friend In London.

I found many great bands this year but ill name off one. Televisor. also known as "The sons of Daft Punk" and is made up of 2 guys from the UK, one actually has another band  (Who releases tracks indepently) named Rundfunk. But combine those two and they can release one hell of a track.

I didn't know you listened to music. I thought you only pretended to when you put yer headphones in. That's neat! I like it, but as you well know I only listen to things I discover myself. <3

 

Neighvana makes me want to post Coke Bust because that song vaguely reminds me of them. I find them amusing because their name is absurd and their songs are absurdly short. Lots of swearing ensues.

He's speakin' some funny words I don't understand at the beginning. and then the f bomb! Oh JAM.
