Black Lightning followed the group as they walked on, trying very hard to stay undetected. Once he heard they were going to Luna's Castle, he stopped following them immideately and changed direction towards Luna's Castle.

"I have to get there before them" He thought to himself as he soared towards Luna's Castle.

Cloud looked to the ground and sighed, he closed his eyes and said "I know what is required to weild the elements, Im not sure if any of us are worthy of doing so, but all I know is that as long as the Elements are left unguarded, that is a higher chance of Discord getting them... If anything, I only want to keep them safe, until the day that the new bearers rise." He then looked to Nidal, a solemn look on his face, "I am tired of seeing a destroyed world, and I will do anything to see it in its former glory, even at the cost of my life"

Meanwhile Black Lightning had reached Luna's castle. He explored the castle, and found the element.

"I-It's so-- beautiful..." He thought to himself. He tried walking towards it, but walked into a forcefield as if it were an invisible brick wall protecting the element. "What? There's some sort of... some sort of spell protecting it! Hmm... maybe when the others arrive they'll be able to break the spell, and then I can steal it..." He thought to himself. He tried to find some sort of hiding place near the element. There was a crack in the wall. "Perfect." He climbed in, waiting for the others to arrive.

"This 'former glory' that you speak of, all you have to go on about it is that the elements were used to imprison Discord twice, banish Nightmare Moon, and cure Luna; they have only one of four times successfully fixed the problem instead of just stalling it. You'd have to get rid of Discord and his elements of chaos to successfully fix Equestria, would you not? Something that the princesses nor the next bearers of the elements could do; all they did was delay his victory, which, as you can see, came." She shrugged and looked at the sky for a second. "I'm just saying that all the chances are against you in this. Your life, and all those here, might very well end with no progress as to getting the elements. You say that you are fine with that, but what of the others? Would you all lay down your arms and be beheaded if it would mean Discord would be turned back into stone? How about if it would banish Discord to the moon? Oh, and what if it would successfully cleanse Discord? Would you be willing to live with yourselves if, in the end, whole cities had to be sacrificed to achieve this goal?"

It was then Cloud snapped at Nidal, "I would die for ALL ponies in equestria if it meant to save this world! These ponies follow me on their own accord, and I dont blame them if they leave, You dont think I already know that Discord must be destroyed?! I have gone my whole life trying to find some way of killing him! And the ONLY way of doing so is by getting the Elements! Odds have been against me my entire life Nidal, I had to fight for my survival and by Celestia I will KEEP fighting for as long as I have to!"... he then sighed, mentally kicking himself for losing his cool, he needed to clear his mind, "You guys wait here... I need to... think" at that he flew into the air, finding a solitary cloud floating by, he sat on it, and closed his eyes in thought...

Nidal turned around so none of them could see her grin and then proceeded to fly further into the forest. Now she knew what made him tick, whether she would use it or not was up in the air. She landed on a tree somewhat further in and laid down.

as shocked as lunatic was with the play of these two that just happened in from of him he still tought. "im going back to my old mentor's castle. wat would've changed and what would've stayed the same? would the library still have all the books? ohh i must have some of those." as he rambled on about how the old castel would be like he heart a small *creak* he spun his head around to look into a beast witch was some sort of fusion betwean a lion, a scorpion and a bat.

lunatic jumped back just in time to dodge a claw from the terrifing beast.

"HELP!"

he channeled a spell at him in hope he would be scared off but it only enraged him.

running away from the beast he tripped over a small root that stuk out of the ground.

"GUYS I COULD USE SOME HELP!!"

Clouds eyes shot open as he hear the cry for help, he immediately jumped from the cloud and sped for the group, where he saw a huge manticore attacking. "STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!" he yelled, he spun in mid air and kicked out with his hind legs, hitting it in the head and slightly stunning the manticore as Cloud rushe Lunatic away to safety.

Lightning jumped as she heard a horrifying scream. She looked over and saw Cloud with Lunatic, fighting a beast that Cloud called a "Manticore". She grabbed the bucket of water with her mouth and flew over the Manticore. She dumped all of the water on the beast's head. Well, no pranks for today... She thought, thinking of NIdal. She also threw the bucket down on the Manticore's head, attempting to knock it unconscious.

 

(Strong, decide if it works or not.)

The manticore roared loudly in anger, and swiped its tail at Lightning, Cloud flew back into the air and proceeded to dart all around the beast, hitting and bucking it anywhere he could find a soft spot...

(Now if we could get more people to post it would run finely lol)

Ampyrion eyed the manticore warily. "Crap. Water. Someone get some WATER!" Just then, he saw Lightning dump a bucket of water. "Oh, well that was convenient." Summoning the affinity with water that flowed through his veins, he caused the water dumped on the manticore's head to freeze solid.

"That wasn't enough water to do anything much, it's not gonna be permanent...." he called, backing away from the enraged and thrashing manticore.

Nidal flew back to them upon hearing the roars and settled down on a cloud, content to watch them play out and try to defeat the manticore. She would wait out the battle for she wanted to know if they could even fight well, as a team or alone.

Lightning flew high into the air as the Manticore swiped it's tail at her. Lightning was getting angry, so she dived headfirst towards the Manticore's head.

 

(i'm expecting this to fail, by the way. You still decide, though!)

 

EDIT: Hmmm, I seem to have been double-ninja'd. Tell me if I should change anything in my post because of the little freezing incident!

"Good work though" said Cloud to Ampyrion, he then looked to a tree that hung loosely on some old vines and got an idea, "Do you think you can get the manticore to back up under that fallen tree? I have an Idea" he then saw Lightning dive for the beast, only to be knocked away as the beast threw its head up in rage as it tried to get rid of the ice, "Lightning! Follow me I need your help!" he then flew over the hanging tree, "Remember dude, back the manticore right here! Lunatic! Try to help him!"

"Hey you!" Ampyrion called to Lightning (doesn't know her name). "I don't know where you got that bucket of water from, but do you have any more?" Backing away a little further from the manticore, he began trying to feel out any potential sources of water nearby.

Lightning flew over to Cloud. "What do you need?" She asked with a serious expression on her face. Her face was bleeding all over. It was such a stupid idea to attack that Manticore!

 

EDIT: Ninja'd, I'll just reply to Ampyrion in this post.

 

Lightning looked over to Ampyrion. "I've got some!" She called out. She pulled out three small water balloons, and flew over to Ampyrion. After giving them to him, she raced back to Cloud. "Oh yeah, my name's Lightning!" She called back to Ampyrion.
