Well, I can't speak for everybody, but I don't have Spring Break at my University. Instead we get out for a week at the beginning of march, and two days around Easter. And school gets out in early to mid May.

 

I've been thinking about it. I could totally pull off the old Normal-type trainer game. I love normal types. 

 

Don't think I will, but it depends on what you guys think.

 

I'd probably get a Granbull, a Girafarig, a Furret in addition to Aipom and Eevee,. Possibly a part-flying, or a Blissey or Smeargle as well. If I could get a Zangoose I would.

 

But I don't think that's the route I'm gonna take. I'll probably be like this RP's version of Brock, battling occasionally, moderating unofficial battles, and being more concerned with the journey and taking care of Pokemon, perhaps with a bit of Tracey thrown in as referenced by my character's name. Drew Sanzio. I mean, the first name is obvious, and his surname is the same as OTL Raphael.

((I believe Stantler isn't actually supposed to be used for a charger or sweeper, right? I just kinda have a prejudice against Stantler... As well as a few other pokemon.))

 

Moveset. 

Stantler learns Confuse Ray at level 23, Hypnosis at 10, Role Play at 33, Calm Mind at 27, Imprison at 49, Captivate at 53 and Me First at 55. . It can also learn stuff like Disable and Spite as egg moves, and Skill Swap and Spite via tutor. I'd say Stantler could be just as much a confuser, or whatever word it was you used, as a charger or sweeper

If, for some reason,  I can't get on for a few days at a time, I'll let you know, but I'd rather take this. I'm a bit of a Pokeguru. I spent five years battling competitively on a Nintendo Forum. EV training, Nuzlocke, Speed Runs, the whole deal. So I know what I'm talking about. No offense. <3

I agree with you to some extent. I'd totally get myself a Vulpix if I wasn't already going to evolve Eevee into Flareon. But I prefer normal, dark, steel, ghost, and fighting types, generally speaking. Of those I probably like Normal and Dark the most.

 

 

Ninetales got ripped off. It should totally be a ghost type.

I only don't like normal types that much because of STAB. I dunno. Normal type moves always seem dull to me. So since they only get STAB on that, meh. Not my least favorite type though.

Anyhoo... I guess I like normal types because of their versatility and because of just how freaking underrated they always are. I mean, I used to completely pwn with my Ambipom and my Lickilicky, and my Clefable and Sawsbuck and Togekiss before I stopped competitive battling.

 

Plus some of them just look really freaking cool or have neat concepts behind them. Like Teddiursa and Ursaring (Ursa Minor, anypony?) And Aipom, Granbull, Smeargle and Ditto.

 

By the way... Ninetales actually is my favorite pokemon. Aipom's only number two.

Speaking of catching Pokemon, I've kinda been thinking about a final team. More specially I've been thinking about adding Heracross to my team. Also Magikarp. One of the only episodes of the Diamond and Pearl anime that I liked is the one where Pikachu and Piplup get their asses kicked by a over trained Magikarp and Feebass. But more on the topic of Heracross, are we allowed to pick what nature we would want a Pokemon to be or something? Also while I'm thinking about it, will legendaries have anything to do in the RP? I start to think a lot just before I go to bed so I'm sorry for all the questions. Maybe I should have PM'd you or something...

Genial. Well, that's one way to put it. Drew's just fairly wary. He's probably more irritated about the treatment of the Shinx than how you wear a Rocket cap. Its kind of a giveaway that you don't have an R emblazoned on your chest.

(I did use the word 'Angry' to describe the buzzing on several occasions. I also mentioned that the tree had several yellow pods on it. Kakuna. I generally prefer to plan ahead as to what is where. The Heracross was in the wiggling tree, eating sap with some amount of gusto. But it'll have fled the Beedrill too, at this point.))

Imprison works like it does in Mystery Dungeons, if you've ever played that. It prevents the opponent from moving for a short time. It doesn't last forever, though. 

 

If Flame Burst catches something else on fire, and Vulpix jumps into that something else fire, I might give it to ya.
