Bibarel's attack was a clean miss, and it took the blast of poisonpowder full to the face. It coughed as the wave of water that emitted from Bibarel's tail washed Oddish across the field.

Shuckle flinched and immediately pulled itself into its shell, appearing terrified. Krabby looked irritated at being left and scuttled back over to Plusle, trying to regain it's attention by snapping its craws.

"Hello! Welcome back, Aryios! Is there anythinig I can do for you today?"

((Okay, I've described Route 39 like three times now. Let's see if I can remember.))

There was a herd of Tauros outside the fence. A Milktank had escaped the farm and was rolling around. There were three shuffling trees, one by a fence, one by Olivine City, and one that was buzzing ominously. A Snubbull noses at a batch of grass curiously, smelling it.

Drew shrugged. "Whatever's easiest, I suppose. We can take turns at cooking, I'm not bad myself. I mean... My cooking's not bad." He turned slightly pink at his slip of the tongue, and averted his face by looking at Shinx, who had taken it upon himself to play with his shoelaces.

They had reached the Apricorn Grove just south of Ecruteak now, and Drew took a tent out of his bag and began to pitch it.

"Well i need a place to stay for the night and could you heal my Eevee" Aryios said calmly. *you handed your eevee over to nurse joy she takes them to the to the back of the pokemon center*  Aryios looked around he couldnt believe all the pokemon that was here they were do diverse some big and some small "Wow the pokemon world i so diverse i cant wait to check it out" he thought to himself

An unnatural storm is rolling in, originating in the vicinity of the Ruins of Alph. Everyone outside will notice it, and all Pokemon out of their balls WILL react to the coming storm, usually in fright, or a determination to see what's going on. However, I urge you to not listen to your pokemon and investigate JUST yet. It will be elaborated upon at a later date.

@@Glaceon,

Stella knew that a Water type attack wouldn't be very powerful, but it was always better safe then sorry. Oddish had a chance to get out of the way, so they better take it. "Oddish! Let go!" Stella commanded. Oddish immediately stopped using the attack, and quickly tried to get out of the way.

It was a clean miss. It seemed, after taking a poisonpowder full to the face, Bibarel's aim was off.

Suddenly, with a loud bang, the lights in the gym went out, and the Gym was completely drenched in darkness. There were confused shouts, some even frightened.

@@Glaceon

"PLUSLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLE!" That was the only thing that was heard outside, as Plusle ran around in circles, finally calming down, and holding onto her tail, seeing it was a bit swollen. She gave the Krabby a bit of a glare, shooting out some "Plus!", angrily at the Krabby.

Ryan and Minun were exiting the building. They found the Gym of the town, but it would appear to be closed... He would check that out in the morning. But first, he needed to find Plusle...

((Good guess about the gym. It is kinda late in RP.))

The sky began to darken as clouds rolled in at an alarming pace. A bolt of lightning was visible striking the water in the vicinity of the Whirl Islands. It would not be long before the storm reached Cianwood.

Shuckle and Krabby both jumped and looked at the storm, Shuckle poking its head out to see what was going on. Moments later both were scuttling as if their lives depended on it, trying to flee the Storm's wrath.

Xatio walked over to a shuffling tree, that was close to a fence. It would seem there was something in the leaves. Well, he did want to catch some more pokemon. "Spearow! Use fly on the tree!" Spearow flew straight up into the air, then sped downwards, slamming into the tree.

Thunder could be heard in the distance, but regardless, out of the tree fell a large, blue beetle bug. Heracross. It did not look particularly happy, and wiped the sap off of its mouth, opening its wings, and looking like it was about to charge Spearow down.

((The situation...which has now been fixed img-1336215-1-dry.png ))

Luna nodded...what didn't show was that tiny little piece of her that she never thought about...was crying.

Her eyes widened slightly...no...she couldn't have been thinking that...no.

She started to blush so she busied herself with putting her tent back into her bag, doing her best to hide her blush.

Drew had just packed his tent cleanly away in the bag when all of a sudden a fierce wind shook the trees. Aipom and Shinx both began to be blown away, only to be recalled into their pokeballs. Abra, who was slightly heavier, was fine. Barely a moment had passed when the bizarre wind suddenly stopped, and the air became unchillingly still. Drew only had time to comment, "Well, that's strange," when it began to downpour furiously. He stifled a curse under his breath, looking up at the sky that had moments before been clear, and began to re-pitch the tent with renewed haste. Around them, about half the trees could be seen waddling away, attempting to hide from the rain, but otherwise benevolent.

Once he had the tent up and the tarp up, he gestured furiously inside. "Get in, Luna!"

It was going to be cramped, but it was far safer than staying out here, as was proven when a bolt of lightning lanced the trees overhead. He fumbled in his backpack, and set a lightningrod on the ground near their tent, to draw away the deadly bolts...

Leon walked up to the Pokeball that contained Hoothoot and picked it up. "Well that was pathetically easy." Leon said to himself. "I suppose I better get to a Pokemon center. I can't imagine it being too fun when part of you is on fire." Leon said walking off to Ecruteak City. When he finally got there he looked around. "Neat." he said thinking out loud. He would go sight seeing tomorrow. [He always wanted to see the Bell Tower in person] Right now it was getting late and he had a bird whose wing was on fire.

Ecruteak City began to experience similar symptoms to the Sudowoodo Grove, with a fierce gust of otherworldly wind, an unnatural still, and then rain and lightning. Post your reaction to the event, and your pokemon's reactions, as you see fit.

Nurse Joy nodded ever so politely as she returned your Eevee. "Don't worry, it was already in perfect health." She smiled kindly. "As for staying tonight, you could -"

There's a flash of lightning outside the window, and suddenly the light outside was practically nonexistant as the power grid for Goldenrod City was struck. The lights in the Pokemon Center flickered and dimmed, and the drum of rain was very audible pounding on the roof and the ground outside.

"Well... I suppose everyone's going to have to stay the night, now. Good thing the backup generator's working," Nurse Joy said, looking with concern at the back room. "The sick pokemon need it if they're ever going to recover."

Immediately, Plusle jumped at the sound of thunder being heard. She turned around to look, seeing a large storm approaching Cianwood, along with the Krabby and Shuckle scurrying for their lives. Plusle followed suit, not even worrying about her tail, and just trying to find Ryan...

Luckily, she did, and ran right to him, climbing up his legs, and wrapping around his neck, yelling out more of her cries. Ryan had already paid attention to the storm, and dashed off to the nearest open building, the PokeCenter, both his partners clinging for life on his neck.

The man, dressed as he was in a suit of fine white garment, with a red insignia emblazoned on his chest, walked down an ancient hallway, engraved with thousands of foreign letters of a civilization long dead. He wore a smirk that twisted his handsome face into something akin to a foul ogre. He rounded a corner, and marvelled at what his Team had accomplished.

Before him rotated a large, whirling sphere of the Unown, each a letter of the ancients with blank eyes. But that's not what beheld his attention, no. What he watched was the large yellow beast that writhed in pain, suspended in midair in the center of its Unown prison.

"Raikou..." He began to laugh as the Unown Sphere compressed once again, and with a scream, the monster they contained was forced to release another bolt of lightning into the sky.

Barely seconds later, a colossal bolt of lightning struck the Sprout Tower in Violet City. Monks and Trainers ran, panicking, attempting to save the precious Bellsprout and simultaneously quench the inferno. Chaos reigned. Meanwhile, in Goldenrod City, the Radio Tower burned, as the effects of Raikou's previous attack took its toll...

She rushed forwards towards to offender and pecked the bug pokemon with strength. Though, it wasn't her best peck. Spearow seemed distracted by something. It was probably nothing though.

"Oh my...um...Don't worry the generator should kick in any second now." Nurse Joy said before whispering something to a Chansey who quickly ran into the back of the Pokemon Center. "Just what is going on outside?" Leon said to himself as he went out to investigate.

It was raining rather hard and there was a strong wind. A few moments later the wind stopped and a stillness came over the entire city. But just as quickly as the wind stopped it started up again. "What's going on? Did Thundurus and Tornadus finally get tired of Unova?" Leon said sarcastically before walking back into the Pokemon Center after seeing a tree get struck by lighting. The lights started to flicker and soon they were on again as a Chansey walked back into the lobby. "Well at least we can see again." Leon said.

@@Glaceon,

"Huh?" Stella exclaimed, seeing the lights go out, then the confused shouts and such. "What happened?" She asked fairly quietly, unable to see Oddish.

Oddish remained calm, used to very dark places, and listened for her trainer's voice. Once she heard it, she jumped into her arms.

A trainer with an Ampharos, who had the good fortune to be in the gym the moment the lights went out, had sent out his pokemon, who was illuminating the whole room in a wavering red light from the orbs on its tail and forehead.  "I don't know," said the girl Stella had been battling, Claire. She and her Bibarel ran towards one of the building's few windows, next to which already stood a tall, pretty girl with pink pigtails and a white softball jersey lined with pink. Whitney stared, a look of dismay on her face, at the building that burned.

The Radio Tower had caught fire.

Several gym trainers had called out their Azurill, and ran to open to door, only to be blown back by the wind that gusted in. "It's no good," Whitney called. She looked back toward the window. "That fire is too big to be put out by a few Azurill. There's nothing we can do."

*Eevee looked up at you with puppy dog eyes* "aww you want to sleep with me huh" Aryios said smiling. *Eevee let out a happy chrip and hopped in his lap he curled up and fell asleep* "Well i have got a long day ahead of me tomorrow a day of adventure and new beginnings." Inside the Cianwood Pokemon Center, Nurse Joy and Chansey were both struggling to calm the Pokemon kept there, all of whom were being frightened by the unnatural storm. Joy looked at her Chansey, and upon her instruction, Chansey began to emit a pale blue aura that enveloped the panicking Pokemon and the entire Pokemon Center. They immediately began to calm as Chansey's Safeguard took effect.

((Nope, but I'd try to get this battle done quickly. The storm will reach you soon.))

The Heracross took a glancing blow from the Peck attack. It did seem to hurt the Heracross quite a lot, but as it was a glancing blow, and not a direct hit, Heracross was still able to charge at the Spearow with its mighty horn.

Luna quickly gathered her stuff. And with a red flash Both Gastly and Abra were in their pokeball's.

"It's so weird  The sky was clear a few minutes ago... Are you alright?" He had turned around, and had turned rather pink when he noticed just how close they would actually have to be in this small tent. He bent down and tried to help the poor girl sit up by taking her hand. The plastic floor of the tent was quite wet and slick.

Ryan ran over to a side of the building, huddled against the wall. He was clutching his two partners dearly and tightly...

A muscular trainer wearing a sleeveless white tunic walked calmly out of the Pokemon Center, and gestured at Ryan. "Come on inside. You might want to see the news."

Luna sat up and looked out at the storm. "That really is strange." She said, looking at Drew. She noticed his slight blush then looked around at the tent. "Well, it's better than nothing," Drew commented, quite as red. He seemed unable to decide whether he ought to look at Luna or avert his eyes. It's not like there was anything else to look at.

"Well..." Whitney's voice faded away as she thought for a moment. Then she whirled around, very much like a diva might. Her voice sounded confidently, with all the authority of a Gym Leader. "Elaine, open the hatch. Everyone who has a strong Pokemon or a water Pokemon, follow the tunnel and wait for me where it ends." The dark-haired girl, who was evidently Elaine, threw open a trapdoor in the dance-floor, and trainers began to stream down it. Whitney flung a Pokeball, and from within it came a tallish, brown rabbit-like Pokemon. It was a Lopunny. Closely following it out of the Pokeball were Clefable and Miltank. She then turned to Stella. "Come on, then! We'll need everyone's help!" and rushed into the tunnel after the trainers, her pokemon close on her heels.

"What do you mean? Everyone knows who Thun-" Leon stopped once he remembered he wasn't in Unova. "Oh it's uh...It's a Pokemon from a legend. Like Ho-oh or Lugia." Leon answered. ~I swear some of these people need to learn out about the other 300 Pokemon in the world.~

A golden-haired man emerged from a shadowy corner of the Pokemon Center and approached Leon. He wore dark clothing, and a purple headband. "Well, around here, the legends tell of more Pokemon than just Lugia and Ho-Oh. And they all originate from right here in Ecruteak." He pointed towards one of the corners of the town, and then to a magnificent Tin Tower visible over the trees. "Once, there were two towers here. The Brass Tower, which we now call the Burned Tower, was Lugia's home, while the Tin Tower belonged to Ho-Oh. But one day, lightning struck. And the Brass Tower burned to the ground."

"Three Pokemon were inside the Brass Tower when it burned, and lost their lives. But Ho-Oh, seeing that Lugia had abandoned them, took pity, and restored life onto these three Pokemon. And they were reborn as the powerful titans of Lightning, Fire, and Wind. One for the lightning that struck the fatal blow, one for the fire that took their lives, and one for the wind and rain that quenched the inferno. Raikou, Entei, and Suicune were their names."

"For years, they rested in an eternal slumber in the ruins of Brass Tower. But recently, they were awakened, and disappeared. I fear that they might have a hand in this unnatural storm. The Pokemon certainly seem to know that something more is wrong than we realize." He gestured sadly towards the few pokemon who remained outside of their Pokeballs, who were quivering in corners of the room.

-snip-

Someone let out an exclamation as a blue-haired girl dashed into the Pokemon Center, her arms full of as many eggs as she could carry. She set them down on Nurse Joy's counter and turned to run back into the storm, only to find her way blocked by Nurse Joy herself. "You can't go back out!" Joy said. "It's too dangerous." "But the eggs! The Pokemon eggs! I can't just leave them out there! My grandparents will kill me!" cried Kris, almost in hysterics, as she tried to get around Nurse Joy's widespread arms.

"Oh, I've heard of that legend before. My grandma, who is from Johto, told it to me once but I never thought anything of it. Not until now anyway." Leon said to the mysterious man. "From the region I come from the only thing that could create a storm this bad is a legendary Pokemon. You think one of those Pokemon from the tower has something to do with it? And why would they even cause a storm like this?" Leon's mind was racing with questions all concerning the storm and the three legendary beasts.

The only thing he knew for sure was that something had to be done before the storm caused any more damage.

"Well, it's better than nothing," Drew commented, quite as red. He seemed unable to decide whether he ought to look at Luna or avert his eyes. It's not like there was anything else to look at.

Luna pulled a couple lettuce cheese and tomato sandwiches from her bag and turned to face Drew. Her blush had faded but when she looked into his eyes she felt it slowly returning. "Uuuh...heresyoursandwich." She said, so fast all her words slurred together. "Heheh." Her blush got slightly worse. "I mean...here's your sandwich." She said, holding the sandwich out for Drew.

@@Glaceon,

"Right." Stella replied, recalling Oddish, due to the simple fact a grass type and fire don't really mix well, and followed Whitney. Now that she thought of it, due to her ability, Vulpix would be great for this sort of thing. And, since Absol was so agile, he could probably help too.

He paused for a moment, gauging the torrent and lightning strikes with a professional interest, "I'd assume Raikou is the cause, although why... I have no idea."

He scratched his head, and before Leon even had the chance to move, said, "You shouldn't leave to investigate, by the way. No one should leave until morning, at least. It's not safe right now, even for the most powerful trainers."

((It's definitely NOT morning already. Don't try to change things. That's my job.))

Kris seemed incredibly agitated. "No, I'm just trying to get past Joy here to save several Pokemon who haven't even gotten to live yet! Everything's absolutely flipping dandy!"

As if to amplify the merit of her argument, someone yelled, "The Radio Tower's been struck! It's burning! BURNING!"

Kris took absolute advantage of Joy's falling for the distraction by ducking under her arm and sprinting rashly out into the storm. Joy whirled around. "No! Come back! It's too dangerous!" She was almost inaudible over the howling wind and pounding rain.

((Ah, everyone else is involved in momentous events, and here we are, eating sandwiches. I love it.))

Drew took the sandwich, and took a bite out of it sheepishly, his face almost matching the color of the tomatoes in his meal. He blinked as he heard another particularly fierce howl of wind overhead. "Sounds like we'll be in here for a while," he said, still red. With a slightly embarrassed smirk, he added, "Well, at least we'll get the chance to know each other."

Whitney spoke to the herd of trainers that had gathered at the end of the Gym's entrance to the Underground Tunnel, which was flooded to about ankle-level, due to the fact that the rain was putting more water in the tunnel than the tunnel's drainage system was actually able to get rid of.

"Alright, trainers! There are still people in that Radio Tower, and we're going to do all we can to try and help! Those of you who have water Pokemon, I'm going to need you to have your Pokemon clear a path for the rest of us, so that we can try and get everyone trapped inside to safety. That's where everyone else comes in. Fire Pokemon trainers, use your Pokemon to try and find people trapped that we can't see. And those of you who have strong Pokemon will have to help carry weak people out, or move stuff out of the way."

"Just be careful you don't get yourself hurt in there! I don't want anyone to get in over their heads, or engage in unnecessary heroics."

About a quarter of the trainers in the group hurried forward, herding Pokemon such as Azurill, Bibarel, and several others besides, towards the passage in the Underground Tunnel that seemed to be emitting an acrid-smelling smoke; everyone else followed.

@@Glaceon,

Stella followed and looked at the huge fire. Her home of Lilycove had never had anything even slightly near the size that this was, due to all the water type trainers and nearby water systems. "Alright. Vulpix! Absol!" She yelled, calling out the two pokemon.

Both pokemon looked confused, having no idea what was going on.

((Should Absol be unresponsive in any situation that could cause danger to him, or just battle situations?))

Luna nodded and took a few bites of her sandwich. "Abra is going to be so angry...he never likes being in his pokeball for long periods of time." She let out a small chuckle. "I still haven't really caught him." She said, laughing and eating some more of her sandwich.

Holding her sandwich with one hand, she used her other hand to search around in her bag for a roll out mattress and a sleeping bag.

Just then Leon noticed a lighting bolt hitting another tree, catching it on fire. "Oh, uh...Yeah I suppose we could just stay here." Leon said suddenly a bit nervous of going outside again. "My Pokemon are tired anyway. I had no idea I was battling Jasmine all day."

((I have a feeling Absol would be reasonable when there were people in danger. Just due to an Absol's personality in general.))

The trainers with water Pokemon had reached the building, which was already engulfed in a ravenous inferno. Screams could be herd from inside, and the water Pokemon did their best to create a path with various water guns and bubblebeams. They were partly successful, and a path was wrought through the inferno. While the water pokemon held the flames back, ground pokemon were using attacks such as sand attack to attempt to prevent the flames spreading yet again. Large pokemon were helping humans vacate the injured, and shift heavy beams and other objects that had fallen on people, or in the way of the water pokemon's onslaught.

@@Glaceon,

While it might be dangerous, greatly, it didn't sit right with Stella to put both her pokemon in danger without going with them. Plus, it shouldn't be that hard to make her way through the rubble. It would be much harder to make one's way out of it.  "Alright. Vulpix, clear a path for me and Absol. Absol, you find any survivors with your horn." Both nervously nodded, Vulpix looking a bit more confident then the Absol, though Absol was much more powerful.
