Help making music *critics needed*

Ok so as you can tell from the title I want to make music I want it to be similar to like glaze or TuXe you know with that type of synth n stuff. I already own FL Studios Mobile HD and wanted to know what other programs would be worth my time if I wanted to move in that direction I have already made 2 "songs" I guess you could say. They are really just remixes of the demo songs for FL studios mobile and they are not really pony related but that's the direction I want to move in. I would be really happy to get some good tips and ill post the link at the end to my two songs so people can criticize it I think it would also be cool if like some other beginner musicians would want to maybe do some sort of project ( don't know how since I can't really upload anything to fl studios mobile yet) also I'm really kinda just limited to my ipod at the moment as I had to throw away my old computer monitor and have not bought another one yet. Anyways here is the link http://m.soundcloud.com/you/tracks

remixes of the demo songs

That's a good way to start wink.png

Remember  that everyone starts at the "bottom".

Hmm, FLS and AAF would be the software i would recommend for a beginner.

So, jeah... Good Luck!

Well, FL Studio is the obvious choice since you already have FLM, and with it, the ability to import compositions to FL Studio.

I suggest you start reading, though. I compiled some of my favorite guides into a single post recently.

Your link is also a dead-end. Your SoundCloud page is always soundcloud.com/*yourusername*.

hmm that's really strange when I used it it worked just fine oh well I'll just try linking to a specific song I guess thanks for the guide

There's a reason for that:

when you're in soundcloud, any url that is specifically "you" /soundcloud/you/tracks is only visible by you when you sign in. If I follow that link, the page will load with MY tracks, not yours. Instead, what you might want to try is http://www.soundcloud.com/(your username here)

for instance, my page would be http://www.soundcloud.com/anoraxofficialmusic, and if the grand benevolent overlord Feld0 had a soundcloud page, it'd probably be www.soundcloud.com/Feld0

As for specific suggestions, I don't really have any, at least right off the bat. We'll see what you have so far and go from there.

Just remember that starting out will be the hardest part of this process as you need to learn how to use your DAW, you need to figure out each individual synth and to get the best sounds, you are likely a ways away from having anything that will be mixed or assembled well. But don't worry to much about where you want to be or go quite yet, focus on it as a long-learning process and one where you can hopefully spend a good year or so before you start feeling proficient.

The MLR thread is the best place to get a ton of tutorials all in one place.

Highly recommend that place in terms of being a great  place to learn about music production.

One bit of hardware I would recommend as opposed to simply software would be to pick up an actual instrument or 2 like the bass or the guitar or something of the sort, simply because sampled lines for them always sound like complete crap
