What got you to suddenly want to try your hand at the Rap genre?

 

 

Oddly enough, I actually randomly did the same thing a week ago for some reason.

Also, oddly enough, I remember  chunk of those songs....

 

Because the Water Temple sucks. Every time.

N64 OOT Water Temple is annoying, because *pause, swap to iron boots, unpause, progress a bit, pause, swap to Kokiri Boots, unpause, progress again, lather rinse repeat* IT IS ANNOYING... At least OOT 3D allowed you to set boots up to use them on the touch screen, as opposed to N64's way

i'm trying my hand on everything music that has ever existed... somewhat. i was bored and wanted to make some trap shit, so i did. right now i just need to figure out how to do gansta leads, then chop off fitting vocals then down-pitch said vocals...

 

music is hard to do.

it depends on the type of hip-hop you're listening to, i guess. trap music has that kind of screechy kind of synth-sound, which i found out is called a "gansta lead". to get something similar sounding, i also found out it can be replicated by using a synthesizer with only one oscillation, and make that osc. a sawtooth. maybe i'll work with something from there. the hardest part, though, is to find vocals to chop and down-pitch (i don't plan to sing anything in this, just cut and down-pitch vocals, preferrably hip-hop ones. don't know how i'd do that, exactly, though).
