I dunno about you guys, but I'm getting all OCD over it.

 

The seconds in the "time online" part get wrapped around underneath everything else, and the banner just kinda getting slapped where the IPB logo used to be looks wonky with the blue bars in the background. And all of the links to YouTube/Deviantart/etc. being vertically aligned is eugh.

 

I mean, having posts displayed is cool I guess, but it just looks off to me...

Oh, that's a bit different from a grandmother. If it were my father, I'd make my peace with him. Say what needs to be said. Maybe give him a hug. Hugs are always nice.

All my grandparents died before I ever saw them, so the "Oh noes, death" feeling has never successfully permeated into me, and the sadistic part is that whilst shopping at Barnes & Noble at one time, I saw a children's book about death and I wanted to read it.

 

I was never taught death, and my relatives are way too far from me (Northern California, Oregon, Philippines, Australia), so contacting any of them (unless Facebook) is a logistical nightmare.

 

Coping with death would also be a logistical nightmare... Which is why I ask. If my worries do come true, I...

I never really felt the sting of death either, mostly cause I didn't have many to loose

We all deal with death in our own way and no one can really tell you how to deal with it because if the time should come, you might not deal with it that way, as it might not seem natural to you and you might feel even worse.

I cannot offer anything except wishes for a better future and things to perhaps cheer you up (movies, etc)

A few of my relatives have died. My paternal grandparents, my maternal grandmother, an uncle, a great aunt. Only my maternal grandmother was close to me, but not so much that it was too much pain at her loss. Death is merely a part of life. If all were to live forever, all would suffer from overpopulation. Cry if you must. An emotional release is healthy. Just hope for the best and try not to worry too much. If you learn to accept it, the loss won't hurt as much.
