RE: Japanese shows

 

Japanese culture is wildly different than Western culture. What they see as something that's squee-inducing, we see as WTF-inducing, and it's the inverse when they see something as WTF-inducing that's squee-inducing to us.

 

Plus, Japan has an insanely short national anthem, but they make insanely awesome sounding music that the Western world just eats up, but can never understand.
