Because when you have a cat, the cat controls you, unlike a dog, when you control the dog.

So when one of my friends is owned by a cat, they deserve it and I will pet the cat for it's clever strategy.

 

I don't understand this thinking...

I've always loved cats. They've been really sweet animals to me, whereas dogs would bark at me and bite me.

Cats are tame because they think mentally that they actually domesticated you.

Dogs however can be hostile because they actually think for themselves.

Other dogs can be very friendly though, but it really depends.
