Eh, I've been reading fics for 3 and half years now. I've only started reading FIMfics since...I think November, December last year? So yeah, before ponies, by main pasttime was fanfic reading. Trust me, I have read a lot to make for quite some books worth length (and you need to add the +100 stories I am yet to read) . I didn't read that many books, ironically. I've read more books than fan fiction. To each his own. I spent a very brief period trying to read crossover fanfics on fanfiction.net since crossovers can sometimes be awesome. But I guess I got bored of it. That was when I discovered pony fan fiction. from there I ended up on fimfiction.net. Much better system there IMO.

 

I think there are some things that Fanfiction is better than FimFiction, but yeah, it's generally a better site. Truth is though, it's easier to handle a site that is only dedicated to ONE show, than a site that has a LOT of stuff. Although I do read from both, especially since pony fics aren't the only thing read.

 

When reading books I think I've read...15 or less, to be honest. Hell, i intrigue myself in more child/teen books than what not. Ironically, I have read for example "State of Mind" by John Katzenbach. I'm a strange man on that regard .

 

As for my sister, she is the definite avid reader. Has more than 100 books read, and spends a lot of time reading fanfics. She has read a lot from of both worlds, so to speak .
