I thought they'd have special grooves engraved into their hooves, and maybe double-sided tape and whatnot...

Special grooves? That sounds pretty… Legit. I'm leaning more towards the double-sided tape though. Seems more practical-like.

And is it me or is Applejack's head bigger than usual?

I think that it's the angle. That episode had a few animation idiosyncrasies that I noticed - particularly some of the angles. They just seem to be used at less than optimum times.

The more you think about it, the more it makes sense. Trixie must have such a sense of superiority that she thinks she will do everything. The moment she doesn't, she probably becomes her own worst enemy.

Yep - the style of the show lets me analyze the characters a lot more in depth than others, so recognizing their facial expressions and how they speak at a certain period of time helps to better understand what they might be going through. For example, right before she left Ponyville, she still had the proclamation that she was even better than Twilight Sparkle (who'd just taken down an Ursa Minor pretty easily), but you could clearly tell that, judging by her voice, she downright hated what just happened and realized she had just been embarrassed royally. If it's any indication, she might have faced something not too different than that before her incident in Ponyville.

Tell me about it… So, is Pinkie a super genius or just doesn't give a dang? (Begin your overanalysis.)

I simply think Pinkie Pie was born to make the scientific and logicalgeniuses of the history of humanity to roll in their graves.

I only want to know one thing. What the hell is that?!

It is...

It is what you want it to be.

You come up with the greatest lines like this.

Most of the time it's not my creation, though :x

I'd say that the downside of the own personality gets divided in two things. Either it gets you down and become depressed, or you hate your guts and become your own worst enemy. I should know. I had that sensation countless of times. Only the first part of "superiority" never happened...

Self-loathing works both ways. Thinking negative about yourself opens yourself up to bullying behaviour, and that itself is based off of a power struggle in most cases. The fact that you have to bring other people down to your level demonstrates a case of superiority complex pretty well because otherwise, you wouldn't be proclaiming all this junk about you being better than everyone else in the first place.

Yeah, it does make some sense.

I wonder what other kinds of villains there are....

Well...THERE ARE TONS!

For example, you can have the guy with "couldn't please dad/mom/important person, will do bad stuff to do so" complex villain.

You have the "Childhood trauma" villain.

You have the narcisistic villain, who doesn't ever put himself down.

You have the "broken heart" villain.

There are many more out there.

Somehow, imagining that thing as Scootaloo just isn't working. :D

Scootaloo headcrab, maybe?

No...don't...don't look that up... .-.

Well, you use them at the most opportune times, anyway. I find myself laughing at all the random expletives you use.

Yeah, so I looked it up… Strangely, this seems to be what I found:

Nope, no subliminal messages there.

Don't forget the "I did it because i fucking can" villain, just like that Joker in the 2nd Batman :P

Nope. Not you. He's currently inactive at the moment, good chance you won't see him around in here :c

Heh, funny. I was about to look up "Don't go to sleep" on Google Images, but I realized the ironic stupidity of that idea.

"Childhood trauma" villain is pretty rad - I can personally empathize with them, but it's truly a shame that they became that way because abusive parents or shitty peers from a young age. Some notable examples you can throw in are Dr. Crane from DC Comics universe or even Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Would it happen to be the member of the very same name as his poni?

I think the last time he was active was around the time I joined, hadn't seen much of him since.

Oh, now I know who you're talking about. That Sakamoto guy, or whatever his name was. Seemed like a chill dude.

That's one of the things I would like a lot in the show. A Trixie backstory. I would really like it if an episode showed it, to be honest. She has the most potential for backstory that could clear up SO much of her. But yes. Now that I think about it, if the series of "Turnabout Storm" (not sure if you've seen that) will go towards what I think with that regards, oh yeah, I will enjoy it even more. :)

Agreed. To be honest, I normally have a severe case of beating myself up with a stick. Not a single moment have I gone and "put people down" for any reason. But yeah...I can relate to those who don't really have a high self-steem. It's one of those things I'm still treating with the psychologist...
