You have been here longer than I have. I would not be surprised. So, am I the only one here in the GCT that thinks well of King Sombra?

 

I don't interpret that as me being any more of a seasoned member than you, though.

 

And I thought they could have done a bit better job with his character, but the more I think about it, the more I think of him as simply the manifestation of the evil that was taking over, rather than a specific developed villain in the series. If that makes sense.

 

Although, when I think about it that way, it starts to seem like a cop-out.

I was thinking about that . Nightmare Moon gets forgiven and becomes Luna again, Discord is frozen, Chrysalis is blown back to her kingdom, and Sombra totally disintigrates .

That door reminds me of that chest or whatever it was from Harry Potter that showed the user's worsts fears (I think Harry's was a dementor while Ron's was a giant spider or something like that).

If anything, King Sombra didn't have as much dialogue as the rest, that much is true, but psychologycally speaking, and the set up for him, not to mention the traps, THAT was very good in my opinion.

Yeah I was just saying what they could've done to make him better. While being the weakest villain so far, I still thoroughly enjoyed him as a villain.
