Actually, my clever idea turns to dust if any of the characters from the Mystery Train RP are involved....

Darn. So close. So much for that. But it still involves a train. Maybe Asteria got separated from Lapis Lazuli? My original idea was to have her be the same Asteria from the beginning of the Mystery Train RP. Instead of teleporting home like she was told to, she finds the ponies from your RP and ends up joining them in their crazy adventures. But this could be like an alternate universe similar to that other one. The scholarly duo were in Canterlot doing what they had been doing, but Asteria goes off on her own. Eh, not as funny or clever....

Like I said, failures. Lapis and Asteria are a likable duo that work off each other even when separate. And, their designs aren't that bad, yes? Sparrow is underdeveloped and a bit silly of a concept. Misty is poorly designed, and a complete mess. Last time I used her, I realized she ended up being an outlet for darker emotions. Not fun... And that is why I shelved them.

hmmmm if you talk about each other personality, I bet they are alright since Scotacool said that they are great. And you talk about your OC's like you given birth to them XD, so they MUST be good, but about the design, they are rather generic for being made in pony creator, that's when it comes in handy to know how to draw. If I keep dropping in, I'll break my skull.

 

- I find more satisfaction from drawing things myself rather than using something to draw things out for me. Doesn't work for me like that.

 

- The diaper gawk is one of the things I keep in my back pocket for the same reason I keep uranium fuel cells in my back pocket. Plus, you can find uses for a diaper other than peeing in it... I know what the topic itself is, as with its semi-related counterpart, but I keep it under wraps. Not into it, but I just know what it is. It's what you get from browsing the web; You build up a wealth of redundant, useful, and "dark" knowledge that allows you to better navigate the web.

 

- Had a bit of a cough, but now it's really subsided.

Well, for one, I wouldn't have them any other way. I simply cannot imagine them different. Can you think a mane that says "serious pony that does studying and travels all of Equestria in search of knowledge"? Or perhaps an appearance that is truly "Asteria". Though with Asteria, a different mane design could be a welcome change. Her appearance was hard to come up with. If I could draw, I'd have made her that way. But with Lapis Lazuli, he is himself. It's sort of like, "How can I think I'd want to change my own face if I'm happy with it?" The two of them are supposed to be average ponies without anything odd about them that should stick out. They are products of my imagination and extensions of my self image in a way. I placed definite pieces of myself into them.

 

And you and your fancy drawing. I'm dreadfully unskilled. My doodles are awful. My special talent is reading. That's what I'm good at. And it's not limited to books. I can read people too as well as other things.
