There's no likelihood in trying to RP, whether I join one, get invited to one, or make my own, so I'm not even gonna bother with that. My life's too busy to warrant anything like drawing or video, and the Forum Games change too fast for me to keep up.

 

This is the only thing I have left: The GCT.

 

How do the forum games change? They're still the same thing they've mostly been forever with the addition of some new ones.

You don't always have to be working on something every given minute of your life to stay in a place like this. This place should be to get rid of stress. Not cause it.

 

I don't know, man. I'm trying to think of a good reason for you to not leave. I hate seeing people leave and you're a pretty cool guy. :/

How do the forum games change? They're still the same thing they've mostly been forever with the addition of some new ones.

I've had to learn the hard way that the Forum Games are never a reliable medium to express legitimate thoughts. And as much as I wanna stay,... If I can't ever find a way to enjoy myself in any way possible, be it RPing, drawing, video, or just chatting, not mindless stuff like in the Forum Games, then I don't wish to stay here any longer.

But the reason I keep coming back here is because it gets lonely and boring there...

 

I never RP'd here before... And all the times I tried to advertise my RP ended up in failure. Well, there's something similar to RPs back in Simtropolis: City Journals. I never made a CJ either, but I actually have no need to make one. What keeps me bound to Simtropolis and its sister site of SC4Devotion is this: I'm one of the developers/testers of the single-most popular mod available to all of Simcity 4, and just being involved in that always entices me to stay, no matter what.

 

It's that I'm already in a fairly high position in both ST and SC4D because of my involvement and influence, but it becomes backwards here, where there's no common ground.

 

I'm not a robot... I have feelings...

 

What I talk about there is concrete information: Information that's pretty much firmly planted and is accepted by everyone else. What I talk about here is abstract information: There's no actual analogue that can exist because it gets interpreted differently by everyone.

It's human nature to be able to think about anything, and that's imagination. Somehow, it's hardwired into my emotions, so that if I imagine something and put it in some tangible form (like drawing) and people like it, I get this feel-good feeling in me. But if nothing happens, it makes me feel horrible, especially if a million years pass and nothing happens...

 

And you know you don't have to RP here to stay here, right? I mean, I know you want to RP, but... And can't you just join an RP instead of just trying to start one? I mean, I have no experience in the whole matter, but I'm trying to come up with something here.

 

I looked through the other RPs here... None of them are any interesting... And I already had a few good ideas; Well, if you find my most recent topic, you'll find a scratched out RP planning thread outlining the idea of having an RP where all the players are heading west. It was something that came to mind during my physics class... And something that I thought would excite others... Except that it only excited only a few, and when I got to making the OOC planning thread,... No response, even from those I pre-discussed it with... I know one of them had plans to do first, but still...

 

Yeah, I know this kind of stuff takes time, so I shouldn't even be complaining about it...
