I thought of love and tolerance as conscious acceptance and conscious acknowledgement, with its polar opposite being intolerance and hate (Yes, it's supposed to be backwards), and its self-augmentation being trust and acceptance.

 

I still think it is, though. That and I like the contradictory.

 

Excuses are the refuge of the weak.

 

Zeal is its own excuse.
