Sunday during the day is one of the slowest parts of the week for the GCT. When the big 3 aren't here, this chat barely moves.

 

On another note I'm living on 5 hours of sleep last night, and I have a ton of homework still to do tonight. Definitely not a good idea.

What comments have you seen? I havent seen anything bad against the episode, just the villain himself.

 

Lots of claims that it was a weak episode in general. Too rushed, etc. I could see how people perceived it like that, but I thought it was fun to watch.

Well, I can't say that I had a "best part" of the song, to be completely honest. Maybe I do, but I wouldn't be too sure. Maybe from half of the song, if you wish. BUT, I didn't have a least favorite part. Of THAT I'm sure. I mean, it was a good bulid up and combination in my honest opinion.

Oh, and well, the big 3 are almost always here. However, you, me, Jinx, Viscra, we're quite common here too.

I think my order of premiere "like" is 2, 3, 1, from most to least. But I enjoyed them all. Also, I don't even know what the Gak thing is!

I believe there was about 10 or 11 commercials for Gak during the premiere, not sure on the exact amount. There was one point where there were 4 Gak commercials in a row, all of them different commercials. Annoying doesn't even come close to describing it.

He served his purpose, but people are comparing him to the other villains. It was a completely different set up, but I do think they could've done more development through flashbacks, history, or something of the sort.

Joey was pretty funny, now that I remember. So were some of the villains in the show... I'm currently re-watching it right now!

 

Lots of things were funny in that show, Joey being the comic relief. But yeah....there's so many shows I should give a re-watch...so many...

But......um...you know, they say history, flashbacks and stuff...THE ONLY ONE that had any story at all was Nightmare Moon, and that's because she's Luna! If anything, King Sombra didn't have as much dialogue as the rest, that much is true, but psychologycally speaking, and the set up for him, not to mention the traps, THAT was very good in my opinion.
