@, Have you ever tried ingesting antacids? I have stomach problems from time to time, and eating Tums really helps. Of course, it's not a perfect solution, but strategic consumption could lead to longer periods of wellness.

that might be a good idea, not sure, I prefer natural solutions, dunno why; also, another recommendation is to not eat too many meaty products

i guess i could try it but i'd rather talk to the doctor first before i try to do anything stupid that could harm me rather than treat me.

Really? Do they even have them in Sweden?

That is for the best. I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to medicine. I try to avoid the stuff if I can.

since nothing was physically wrong with me, i shouldn't really need medication, but some way to normalize stomach and bowel functions through more humane means. but the question is, what the hell is that? what the hell is wrong with my stomach? why the hell is this not considered physical problem for?

Well...

It isn't just shooting at demons...

there is secret areas, you feel that you are in maze.

and i like the story line.

too right, and all of the different enemies and all of the different guns, it's simply a fantastic, fun game to play

I don't think antacids are medication. It's more like take pain medicine for your stomach. Just avoid milk and meat and eat more apples. It's what I do.

it's the whole presentation of the game that's so fantastic. the bestiary is large and varied, the weapons are fun to use and nothing feels dull (well, except for the pistol), the level design, as you said, non-linear, open to exploration, very fun to go through (hell you can skip several parts of the original Doom episodes if you don't feel like going there!)...

the storyline is something i have to disagree with though. i never gave it much thought.

however, what i find so mesmerizing about Doom is how the levels and the atmosphere of themselves is what portrays the game. no need for cutscenes, no need for intermission screens. it's all given right in your face, open to interpretation, and it's just fucking marvelous in some mods (if you have ever played Equinox for Doom 2, you know what i mean). in short,

well, my issues are not THAT severe. i looked up and saw that it reduces acidity in the stomach, which i think is something i don't need. i just need to find a good diet to go by that doesn't wreck the inside-out of myself.

When you put it like that, it sounds like a last resort.

that's the way! I promise that you'll feel much better in no time

oh, one more important thing: never, under any circumstances, mix foods and drinks together

oh gee, i don't know. let me recap today for you:

for breakfast i had 2 sandwiches with ham and garlic pepper on them, water, then i took multivitamin pill and herbal treatment for stomach.

when i was getting to school, i could feel my stomach twisting itself around uncomfortably, which made me have to make a visit to the bathroom the second i arrived there.

after that, i had an hour long lesson, and i felt okay and napped in there afterwards. then, some 20-30 mins later, i think, i went into the bathroom again because my stomach upset me. after that, i got lunch, some mildly appetizing pasta and not so appetizing sausage, ate it rather hastily so i could get out from school and buy the keyboard from the guy, among other things. my stomach actually felt pretty good after i had eaten. i also had 2 sandwiches with butter and garlic granulate on them. i drank water throughout the whole process.

when i got home from my misadventures in the town, my stomach felt okay, and i took it easy with some more sandwiches and water. then i had to rush to the train to not miss my dentist appointment. my stomach again felt twisting, probably because i ran to the train station. i didn't feel any excess having to get out when i arrived there, though, even after a bathroom visit.

when i got home, i let the anesthesia from the dentist wear off, then i had pancakes and soda. after the soda, i felt my stomach twisting around, but nothing had to come out that time too (just the soda). after that i had dinner, sausage stew and rice, and drank water.

and here i am now.

i also had some small amounts of chips and cookies between meals.

does this answer your question, perchance?

that's the way! I promise that you'll feel much better in no time

what do you mean?

oh, guys, may I ask a question? wanted to start two topis (well, one in particular) and I've been searching, there seems to be no similar topics in the forum;

assuming that I start a topic and there is a similar one already started, what's the worst possible outcome (to quote Rarity)?

what do you mean?

what I mean is, for instance when you go to McDonalds and get a Big Mac menu (just saying) and you start munching on the burger while also sipping on the beverage

well, aside from the fact that going to McDonalds is not really indicated in the first place, when you sip on a beverage while eating food, it diminishes the effects of the stomach liquids

you see, the stomach liquids are digesting the food thoroughly (they can cut directly through metal, by the way, imagine how strong our stomachs are); but mix a drink with that and the liquids lose a quantity of their power to digest due to the mix, therefore the food isn't digested correctly and, there you go, stomach pains

also, another really important tip: never chew gum on an empty stomach; when chewing gum, the motion of chewing automatically activates the stomach liquids; if there's nothing to digest, there you go, stomach pains

For one, that's a lot more garlic than I would recommend. Second, if I had eaten all of that, I'm pretty sure I'd feel ill. That definitely seems like an odd assortment of food. Also, try not to drink soda, especially any cola.

okay, i didn't know that. when am i supposed to drink then if i shouldn't drink and drive eat?

and i never do chewing gum anyway, so...

and if there is a thread of the same subject, yours will be merged with the new one, in most cases.

absolutely, carbonated drinks, for one, aren't recommended; secondly, coca cola, pepsi and such, though tasty, are not healthy at all; think about it: coca cola can stay for up to 3 years without spoiling (McDonalds fries last for up to four in perfect state)

the lesson is: don't consume what even bacteria won't consume
