What's wrong with having more tidbits added on a game?

 

 

Play it easy. We are having some weird moments in there

The items elimitate all the skill when it comes to competitive play. It could be someone good at the game and someone new playing. Using me and  you as an example. I can be dominating you with knowledge of the game and skill, but should you get a star, Bob-bom, motion sensor, or hammer/golden hammer as well as mostly anything else. That closes that skill gap like crazy if not eliminating it completely. I actually lost a match to a friend once because he got a lucky knock back into a motion sensor. Which explodes on contact. :|

 

Otherwise, items and the like are actually fun when not in compet play. But somehow that also disqualifies it as a fighter for some reason.

 

And I'll try to.

I don't think Synth will be bothered by the butter lasagna like most, but he did get a giant plate of hay fries already.

Nope. They spawn at random depending on what you got the rate set to. And another thing, there is the chance that the items will appear inside crates, barrels, and capsules. All of which can be thrown at the enemy as well (though, the crates and barrels are heavy and slow your character down in throwing speed and walking speed.) and also have a random chance to explode causing pretty good damage. Should you accidentally hit a capsule and break it and it just so happens to be an explosive one, if your damage is high, then you can say goodbye to that life, or worse, the match.

It's used to either give you error, or just hooked you up to the post just before it. Whichever way the new "go to page 1" thing is much better because it's almost instant

Again, you can turn all of that off as well. So its not fully messed up for the hardcore fans.

And it makes sense considering they wanted it to be a little bit of both.

I need a random name for this song I'm working on. It needs to be somewhat retro-y since I'm attempting to partially emulate some oldschool game systems and their sounds. Not full 8-bit as I'd like, but somewhere near I think.

Yea, its DnB, which is quite fast and switches to drumstep at the very end, which is still technically just as fast.

It probably has some yellow in it, yes. I was just going by what it called it.
