Hi everypony. How are you all? I'm very tired... Too much Pokemon.

Im extremely good as I get to lazy about, though, I was kinda stoked for work since I gotta save for Bronycon and shiz.

 

And how goes your Pokemon experience? Need any more help with terminology, the game in general, random stuff, etc?

Pokemon is great. I just got Lucario and am working on levelling him. I can't stand how the Fighting moves have such little PP. Force Punch is 10, and Focus Beam is 5. I need more. Also I need to spread around my HM's more. My Torterra has Cut and Rock Climb while my Graveler has Strength and Rock Smash. I think I'll give Rock Smash to Lucario. I also learned that I could only get some final evolutions through trading. I can't imagine how that works, but I'd love to get Golem and Gengar.

PP isnt a problem once you learn how to set moves properly. I.e. You also set moves with high pp numbers to offset the low ones.

You can also use a pp up/pp max if you find any to raise pp.

 

If it works, then don't worry about it. Spreading them is good since you wont overload one Poke with all the hms, but if the moves actually work well for it then it shouldn't be a problem. Also, Rock Smash is really weak and I think Graveler would be better suited for it while you keep Lucario with any hard hitting move since he has speed and attack on his side. If you move anything, move Strength to Lucario and keep Rock Smash on Graverer. Now Graveler has a slight counter to other rock types and steel types.

 

Idk how they came up with the idea of trading for evolution, but I don't mind it as long as I have a way to trade. If you want, I'll help you evolve your Graveler to Golem. Just need your friend code (found in your pal pad which which should be in your special items area where the bike would also be found.)

speaking of RPGs, i decided to try out Earthbound... for the 3rd time now. i haven't completed it, maybe i will this time. so far, it doesn't seem like all that bad as long as you grind a lot. when i fought the first bosses, i could fell them in a few swoops thanks to that. it's not as intimidating when you know what you're doing.

 

also, i've done part of my Swedish test now. it went... alright, i guess. the speech went well, but i might get lower scores for problems with sources. the most bizarre thing though was that the speech clocked in at exactly 4 minutes. that is the best time you can get on any test. maybe it's a sign, maybe a coincidence.

ok, ok, so, finally, I got three pokemon that I really want, and a uber rare one in the pinwheel forest.

 

I now have 2 ralts, a male and a female, and a female gothlita.

 

the rare one that I caught was... um... hang on, I gotta look her up... she's the tall, plant pokemon with a flower on her head... name starts with an L.... can't remember...

Ive no idea. I know you can catch their baby evolutions and just evolve them like you said, but that doesn't make them rare exactly.

I can pay for it, the first month is just an issue. I get $80 in a month for allowance, but I may be getting a job at a computer store very soon. Besides, it's not a much as some servers (this one is $60 monthly).

I got a dedicated server today but the datacenter normally doesn't support Ubuntu so it's setup wrong. Requested remote access so I can install Debian instead.

Fix it.  Or just take a break.  Sometimes, you just need to walk away for a couple days, maybe even more.  Then you can come back with a fresh view on things.

 

This works for all works of creativity too, not just music production.  It's great advice and I follow it for most everything I can.
