Not too much, finally have a day off after 3 straight days of 10+ hour shifts. So I'm relaxing all day today. :)

Fixing up a server for a business project of mine, the Internet (network) card seems to not work as it only works when the internet speed is set at 10Mbps. :|

Ouch. That sounds strange, but this is coming from a person with not much knowledge of that sort of thing. 

 

So it only works with a strong connection?

The webhost gave me a 100Mbps line but it will only recognize 10Mbps of it. tongue.png

 

Oh also, I re-filled my Mi-Fi device, so I can have internet when travelling in early June.

A cabin in the mountains in North Carolina. The cabin has wi-fi but I'm using the Mi-Fi on the road because a drive from Indiana to North Carolina is long LOL.

I'm not doing much this summer in terms of traveling myself, mostly because we're saving up money for a possible bigger trip next year.

I'm not doing much this summer in terms of traveling myself, mostly becauwse we're saving up money for a possible bigger trip next year. 

 

Usually we go to Tennessee (around Pigeon Forge) but we decided on this place. I think it's probably cause my dad doesn't like the traffic down there, it can get pretty bad a lot LOL.

I can relate, nobody likes traffic haha. We go to Cape Cod, MA annually in the middle of July, which is also in the peak of the area's travel season. So usually everything is pretty busy, but we've learned to get use to the traffic in the evening now. 

 

I've always wanted to go to NC, most specifically the Outer banks. Heard its gorgeous there.

Yeah, we had storms this morning with 60mph winds recorded west of Indianapolis.

 

Plus that system that wrecked havoc on OKC is headed this way. :(

The system that OKC got was catastrophic. It worries me that these storms are seemingly becoming worse and worse.

They said it's got a good chance of being a bad storm.

 

I hope the Indy 500 isn't stormed out like it was in 2004..... bascially, in 2004 was one of the rare cases when the Indy 500 was cancelled, that time was due to a tornado near the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Well thats a good reason for it to be cancelled.

 

Is there scheduled storms on the day of the race? I mean it seems a bit far in terms of time to predict if it will rain then or not.

Late reply is late, but sounds good man, we should definitely hang out! Also, if you are indeed able to make it down here, you should try and aim around when eqg comes out so we can possibly go and laugh at how histerically shitty it is see it. If that's at all possible to do, that is.
