Damn right! It's a travesty. If I ever have guests over and they ask for anything above Medium Rare, that's the last time they are invited to dinner.

There's a great place in my city called Brazeiros that serves all-you-can-eat steak. It's pricey, but it's also all-you-can-freaking-eat. Try and tell me that this isn't beautiful!

Well, a round trip is only 240 bucks. I'm actually considering it.

Do it dude. Amazing pizza is worth it.

$240 for a pizza?

You might need to rethink your priorities.

You don't understand...this is the greatest New York style pizza ever created by man. I used to eat it like three times a week when my daddy passed out drunk on the couch!

Do it dude. Amazing pizza is worth it.

This.

The picanha is bloody amazing. They cook that stuff over the grill at all times, and when they bring it out it's still steaming. Waiters walk around with those meat spikes and cut the stuff off right onto your plate. All you have to do is wait for them to come around. The tables have glass coasters on them that are green on one end and red on the other. If you keep the green side up, they'll never stop bringing you food. It's like you're a freaking Viking. You should check out and see if there's a Brazeiros or Fogo de Chao near where you live. The latter is basically the same thing, and I believe it was the original company, Brazeiros being formed by someone who worked there. The only difference may just be the name and the regions of the country they're located in.

Dog meat?

I hope you don't mean meat from actual dogs? That would be awful!

We do happen to have a chinese restaurant...

Actually I hit a save glitch on fallout when I found dog meat so somehow he became invisible, proven by the many times he has blown up and walked it off xD

I love him as well. He's a great follower in Fallout and the consecutive sequels. Rex rocks as well, and it was badass to have a cyber dog follower again since Fallout 2 even though Rex doesn't talk.

I do kinda wish Rex talked. Could have so much more of a dialog.

I was sad to not see a Mr. Gutsy in New Vegas. I missed RL-3. Barely played New Vegas, don't think it could match FO3. I've logged over 1500 hours of FO3. Even made a few really shitty mods :P

I'd burn their house down or at least call the cops on them. There's no one more despicable in my mind than someone who hurts and kills dogs. If I ever saw someone beating a dog in public, I couldn't be held responsible for what I'd do to them.

Yup. I once saw the guy just standing over the dog, kicking it. Clear view from my window. Despicable. My parents don't want to call animal control, though.

A dog hasn't disappeared in a while, but they sure take shitty care of their current one. Barks and crys all day because they shove it outside for hours on end.

The only Gutsies I ever saw were hostile, but you're right; RL-3 was a great follower. In my opinion though, NV was better. There was a lot more to do, and I really liked how it continued the story of Fallout 2, returning to the familiar territory of the West with NCR. I liked the weapons of NV better as well, and I enjoyed being able to play an actual gunslinger with revolvers. I love my endgame character who I made a real post-apocalyptic gunslinger. He wears this:

My problem with NV is it did not have the same sense of epic-ness. When I took my first steps into the Capital Wasteland, I was immersed, and my head exploded.

It was the opposite for me. I thought the writing was so extraordinary in NV, and the atmosphere in Lonesome Road was so breathtaking, it was surreal. If you ever get the chance, play the DLC's for NV in the right order, and you'll experience such a moving story. I've never played an RPG that felt so personal before - as if your character is actually a part of the world. I nearly teared up by the end of Lonesome Road. That narrative was beautiful.

It's your duty to call animal control. Screw whatever your parents will and won't let you do. This is a moral imperative. If you're worried about calling from your house, do it from a payphone or a store - somewhere public. I cannot stress how important it is to help dogs being mistreated.

That's the thing, Lonesome Road and Old World Blues were both amazing. Where as Fallout 3's only amazing DLC was The Pitt, and even that had some sour notes in it.

Those DLCs made me enjoy the game, but the base game? It just felt so underwhelming. The game is advertised with Vegas at the center, this big megalopolis, but when you get there, there are five casinos that ban you for life if you hit the jackpot.

I agree with you, but I don't exactly have any proof...

Yeah, I agree, but I made my environment in a sense. Where FO3 gave you a lot to work with, I played NV in a more stylized fashion, RP'ing my characters you could say. Nostalgia for FO2 went a long way with me as well. While FO3 had a superior base location, I think NV had superior writing, and Chris Avellone's return made it all the sweeter.

You don't need proof. You call them up and tell them what you've seen. Animal control works based on rumors and word of mouth.

Also,

All hail the Vault Dwellers!
