i know a few japanese phases, not much though...

"Deutsch" is the only German word I know. That and "die", "der", "das", "auto", "straßenbahn", "authbahn", "nein", "ein", "euch", and a few I can't remember. There's an inclination to use the "K" for the "K" sound instead of using the "C", unlike Spanish and probably a lot of other Romance language that would be more inclined to use the "C" for the "K" sound. And Tagalog; the letter "C" wasn't added until not too long ago.

I know there are extra characters in German: ß, ö, ü, and ä. I think. There's a grammatical quirk with German that says that all Nouns are capitalised, and that in some Cases, a lot of Words can be strung together into one Word.

Austria speaks German also (just another form of German), and that and Germany are the only two countries I know whose endonyms are in German: Österreich and Deutschland. D's at the ends of words are pronounced more like T's, kinda like Dutch, and Deutsch and Dutch sound similar except when I tried to learn Dutch, I differentiated between the two.

That is all.

I forgot: ik, ich, and I. First person singular pronouns that I can remember, other than yo (Spanish).

The important takeaway about looking at Romance and Germanic languages is this: English and French are different.

And I misspelled "autobahn".

I consider English to be really really weird; heck, I think Spanish is much more systematic than English.

yup. The center state.

The US's nose. I remember it as that.

I remember in first grade reading a storybook where all of the states decided to rearrange themselves, and it included Kansas switching places with Hawaii.
