Yup! My pal even wants a copy of it. XD i gotta edit the video, cut out some parts, lengthen others, add in the fireplace sound effect, and get the music in the background. And then make dvd copies for my friend and I, and possibly put it on youtube. XD

So I finally got around to using Photoshop for the first time ever that's not in a classroom setting. Does that make me deprived or do half of you rely on freeware alternatives?

 

Also, half the reason I did so was I'm taking a Photoshop class and I wanna be ready for the event where I have to work on a project at home, like what I did with Visual Studio 2015.

So I finally got around to using Photoshop for the first time ever that's not in a classroom setting. Does that make me deprived or do half of you rely on freeware alternatives?

Yeah, a Photoshop class. Well, actually, Photoshop has some vector capabilities, but it still translates it back into pixels, whereas Inkscape is all vector, and as I've found out, Photoshop has some video editing capabilities, so I may have found a replacement for Windows Movie Maker. Yeah, $10/month, but whatever...

 

I just found fibrous günk in my mango tea. I'm concerned.

 

Oh, you've seen what my desk looks like, right? I got it used for $20 and I reassembled and repaired it to its former glory (can't do much about what's already water damaged), and now I use it as my primary desk. Problem: it's still not done because cable management and I still have to install more shelves into it. Plus, instead of buying a $300+ monitor mount, I figured I'd just add a stand to the back of the table, attach three different mounts to it, and attach all of my monitors to the three individual stands.

 

It'd be kinda like this...

 

 

...but with far more work going into it and 50% more monitors involved.

Wow. I had no idea photoshop could do all that. It sounds expensive though.

I've juggled around buying a triple monitor stand to building one out of scrap wood to getting a floor stand and mounting all of my monitors to it. Turns out, Ergotech's too expensive and has a few other shortcomings, like still having to stand on my desk. I'm half-tempted to make a personal adaptation of the guy's monitor stand and post it on Youtube, as a sort of "I see the utility in making such a stand so I adapted it to accommodate a third monitor". Plus he said it could be adapted in such a way, and really, there's a sort of pride you get out of making something from scratch.

 

The biggest problem I saw with Photoshop (or anything from Adobe Creative Suite) was the price, but the Creative Cloud model just makes it a little more affordable...

 

Oh, and I remember a news story of a guy who drank a can of soda, only to find bits of dead frog in it. No one figured out how it got in there.

You should make the personal adaptation of the stand. Since you'll be making it yourself, you can make it work exactly how you want it too!

 

Yeah, I figured as much. Most of that software costs upwards of 100$, right?

 

That's really gross... I can only imagine how something like that happened. Let's hope it was an isolated incident, and not a sign of more to come...

Now I remember what I dreamt: broke my hand, tried to remove the staples, and ended up putting a hole through my wrist so deep I could see through it and into the bone.

 

Wrist isn't swiss cheese: check.

The act of removing the staples was what put the holes. Not pleasant either way, and what's more was that it disrupted the tendons so that moving certain fingers moved the wrong ones.
