Well maybe past schools. When I was in high school (I graduated in 2011, so 5 dang years ago. xD) we started in august, and lots of schools start in august around here too. Though I know lots do start in September. But yeah.

That feel when you get your first check of the new job and you're mildly disappointed with it.

Yeah I know how that feels. Though I have had my current job for about a year now (11 months in 14 days) I hope I can make it to that year mark before I mess up. This is a new milestone for me. But yeah, I know how that is, your first check is never all that much sadly. Especially if you come in right before the pay period ends.

It's not the fact I started at an odd time, I'd be super ok with it then. It's the fact the low amount of hours is kinda bothersome. Which, is saddening cause the low amount of hours is also the normal amount of hours one would usually get.

 

I just have to hope to get a few pay raises while I'm here, but other than that it's already time to look for something to swap it with.

Oh, I have a couple friends that work for UPS. Do you drive or do you do more of the packing or something? I guess you don't have to deal with customers like I do. I wanna move on from my job, I really need to start looking for line(pony) jobs or electrician jobs. I think outdoor electrician or high voltage electrician would be something I would wanna do, but I dunno where to look, and I dunno who would hire me. >.< It's hard to find the jobs you want these days.

(said she was 19). Always fun, not really. But I don't like dealing with people all that much... Ewwww...

Well, I wanted to stay for half a year, but seeing that check and thinking of how the others will be...I don't really want to be there too long at all. >.>

I'll have to see what I can get done and whatnot.

 

 

It's actually not that bad, tbh. At least, not what I was doing first. THis week has been hell due to the person I was covering for.
