We're not talking about how fast you can go, we're talking about how fast you can get fast... (Plus, speed limits don't normally apply on private roads or racetracks or disused airport runways, which is where you'd wanna test out these things, anyway.)

Also, there's gonna a bajillion news reports on it tomorrow, anyway.

I think it's because pro-fossil fuel people say you need gasoline to power big trucks and the like so they wanted to prove you can have an electric/hybrid semi too

At least on paper, an electric semi truck is a bajillion times more economical and less smellier. And since this is Tesla we're talking about, there's autopilot and platooning, so imagine driving one of these electric monsters and having 2 or more semis following right behind you; something like that is said to be even more economical than transporting things by rail. Plus, all the dangerous things associated with an out-of-control truck are just less likely to happen or won't even happen.

Plus, they have a car that beats every supercar in existence; top speed of at least 250mph and 0 to 60 time of 1.9 seconds; there is no production car in existence that can do that... (Well, there's one car that can do 268mph, but how much faster is the Roadster if all they're giving us is a minimum top speed?)

I kinda wish I took the time to RSVP for the event, because I'm about an hour's drive from LA and it was on a Thursday, and as expected, there's an explosion of news articles.

Lamborghini and friends say they wanna make something electrified, but if they're gonna get a new exhaust pipe ripped open, they're gonna have to step on the proverbial gas pedal...

If you use skype at all then that's not actually a good reason cause its literally the same thing.

I don't use Skype, I switched to Discord to talk to people I already know.
