Corkscrew looks over to Max who is starting to stand up.

 

"And where do you think your going? Today is about enjoying the simple things in life and taking it easy, just for one day. And besides, it sounds like your trying to convince yourself, not me or DogBoots."

 

He motions for Storm Cloud to have a seat.

 

"Max, do you know the story of Dr. Hackle and Mr. Herd? I had to learn it in my training in order to know how to deal with complications when a pony screws up and there is no reversing the effects."

 

Corkscrew finishes off his milkshake and motions for the waiter.

 

"I'm done with my milkshake, thank you. Storm Cloud, would you like anything? My treat."

 

Corkscrew looks back over to Max

 

"Max, I think you and DogBoots need to have a good long talk about your situation."

 

Corkscrew looks back to Storm Cloud.

 

"So Storm Cloud, your from Cloudsdale also? I spent my youth there before I was shipped off to Canterlot."

"I'm not trying to convince anypony." Max snapped back. He didn't really believe that statement-at least, not entirely-but he would defend his argument anyway

"I am fine. I have no addiction. I'm letting Dogboots and Corkscrew's talk get to me." He tried to reassure himself. He wasn't doing a very good job.

Max looked offended by that first statement.

"A potion induced rampage? Yeah, Celestia forbid I see everything as a rainbow and turn homicidal. And I am sure I can swing a weapon around when I cant take two steps without falling over." Max said in an edgy tone. Whether it was potion withdrawal, or irritability, he was acting like a complete jerk. Mention of love potions made this worse.

"Luna's night, that was ONE time a MONTH ago. And I was more focused in Pinkie Pie, OK? Whatever, I do look like crap, so I best clean myself up. Don't want to advertise how sad I am." Max spoke with hostility, until that last part, which he mumbled to himself. Everything about him was terrible right now. His attitude, how he looked, how he felt, everything.

Max waved his hooves in the air in an over exaggerated manner, turning around and facehoofed, keeping it in place.

"What is wrong with you? Stop. Being. A. JERK." He turned around to face Corkscrew. He let out a tired sigh.

"Look, I'm just...going to go sulk on a cloud until I feel inclined to stop. Catch ya later." And with that, Max took off flying, going straight for about 10 minutes until he finds a cloud hanging in the middle of nowhere. It looked like Max was in-between Canterlot and Ponyville. He threw himself on the cloud, and immediately began drifting asleep.

"Let's hope I don't wake up to find half of Equestria under water." Max said to himself. When he finally fell asleep, he had horrible nightmares, too gruesome to mention to the public. He was tossing and turning on his cloud, whimpering like a kicked puppy. You could sometimes here him mutter "No" or "Please" or sometimes "Stop." It was a pitiful sight.

 "Wait, you said you used to compose instrumental music in Canterlot? By any chance did you compose some of the music that The Royal Canterlot Symphony play on the radio? Cause I enjoy listening to their music while i'm gardening it makes it quite peaceful." He asked Plagal. Dogboots may not have respected Royalty but he did have a huge respect for music and a refined taste when it came to it.

 

Plagal's face contorted in confusion.  There's a radio station that plays music played by the Royal Symphony?  I'll... I'll definitely have to pick up a radio sometime soon.  Well, when I have the bits for one...

 

"Er, perhaps...  To be honest, I'm not entirely sure.  I tend to lose track of my pieces once they've been published, unless of course I'm asked to attend a concert that they're being performed at, but that doesn't happen often..."  He smiled slightly and added, "It's good to meet another pony who enjoys music that isn't... well, just metered noise."

 

 

"Ah. Sorry about the teleporting earlier. I learned it a couple months ago and I'm still working out the kinks. Well, anyway, do you know a place to find a home? I'm kinda short on money, after all, having a scholarship to Canterlot U. Oh, your friend works with potions, that's good. I was actually thinking of writing my term paper on potions. Speaking of which..."

 

Plagal sighed, and said to the young stallion, "It's fine, I'm sure you didn't mean it.  Please forgive me if I snapped at you, I have been somewhat irritable lately."

 

You're always irritable, his consciousness reminded him.  Plagal chose to ignore that.

 

"Anyways, you might be able to speak to someone in the Town Hall, which is that building there with the clock tower."  He used his hoof to point it out.

Twilight After Fire Star left the library she turn back to her study. In 30 minutes later She hard the door knock she walk down stairs and open the door and saw a Aiicorns. At first she thoughts it was Luna and she look more closely it was a boy ailcorns and she remembered Princess Celestia telling her. About a brother she had and now Twilight looking at him. " um hello" she look confused and stud at first.Thens she shook her head and siad " Sorry for that you surprise me that all well you must be Eclipes. You must be Celestia and Luna brother right" "She look at him."Well my name is Twilight Sparkle" She tell him with a smile.

 

That I am Twilight. Darksun gave her a hug and said "Its so nice to see my niece. Ive been waiting for this moment for a long time."

He put her down after he hugged her then he said "The komodo and Black cat are my pets Ormmar and Jingles the other is Corkscrews pet pookie" Then he asked "Can I come in?"

"That pony is going to get himself in trouble. I pray that his cloud dose not blow into Canterlot with the condition he's in. They'll lock him up for sure."

Just then, He sees DarkSun out of the corner of his eye heading towards a large tree library.

 

"What in the name of Celestia is that alicorn up to...... Give me a few minutes, I'll be right back."

 

Corkscrew walks up to the waiter and pays him. He than heads over to the tree library and knocks on the door.

"Ah, yes, I think that I remember that concert..."  Plagal winced.  Just thinking about it almost made his eardrums hurt!  "Thank goodness there hasn't been another one since then.  I was afraid that that might be a regular occurrence."  Plagal paused for a moment as something in his head seemed to click.  "Come to think of it, right before that concert was the last time that I was able to... er... nevermind."  Quickly, he changed the subject.  "So gardening, eh?  That's... er... excellent...  Yes, very excellent!"

Corkscrew smiled that he was though of that highly in the castle, but was now trying to figure out what she meant. What did Celestia have planned for him.  

 

"I'm honored that both Princess Celestia and Princess Cadence think highly of me, but what do you mean by special?"

 

Corkscrew's face went from joy to terror when Twilight mentioned about his special somepony. 

 

"ahhhhh, Actually I don't have one.........Not yet anyway.....There is a funny story about the lipstick, but you have to keep it quiet. DarkSun, you too."

 

Corkscrew checked to make sure nopony else was in the library where they could be heard or seen.

 

"Twilight, Did your brother ever tell you about the incident that happen at guard graduation a while ago? The prank were a cadet was slipped a love potion without that pony's knowledge, where when that pony got called up to get his degree from Princess Celestia herself, it kicked in and made a seen by hitting on her in front of a full main chamber? I was that guard cadet. I was so embarrassed that I took a month of leave and came to Ponyville."

Corkscrew pauses for a moment. 

 

"Do you have a place I can wash this off? I would hate for somepony to see it and get the wrong idea."

 

As Corkscrew walks to wash his face, the photo that was on his nightstand of Celestia kissing him falls out onto the floor in front of Twilight and DarkSun.

Stella grinned. "Thanks Aerial." As they arrived, the turquoise Pegasus opened the double doors that entered into the big town hall. She spotted a couple of tables with pictures of houses. "There!" She set down her bag at the front, where a few other ponies had and started flying over to a table. She waited for Aerial, while admiring the house. Shoot. These houses are pretty expensive... But if I did manage to get someone to live with me - it may be a lot cheaper...

Ive been waiting to meet you Twilight i love meeting new family members he said. Celestia told me about you and your friends said Darksun and i like one of them he said laughing. I also wanted to see if i could barrow a book on history for the pas thousand years he said. Ive been in the Evergreen Forest the whole time blocked off from civilization.

My mentor asked Darksun why do i need one I know enough magic already. What else do I need to learn asked Darksun. Well I guess i could learn some new stuff i guess. It will be fun! Do i have to do something to learn these new magic tricks he said laughing out loud.

The cloud that a still sleeping Max was on slowly began drifting back to Ponyville. It blew him across town square, eventually settling right above the restaurant that Corkscrew resides at. (Going to borrow @thor9356's dream format.)

 

Max found himself in a dark room. All he could see was a single table with a light shining above it. On the table was a simple RS potion. Having nowhere else to go, he cautiously walked over to the table. When he finally got over to it, just as he came into the light, a copy of Max appeared on the opposite end of the table. Max looked at the doppelganger, and saw a horrible sight. He was know longer had a dark olive coat, but a pale green. It was dirty, matted, and visible scars, cuts, and bruises were present. He wore no fedora, revealing a mane that was even worse than the fur. Messy, cut horribly, and very greasy. His concierge was tattered, pieces looking like they were torn by a timberwolf. The straps were gone, likely stripped for some purpose. His eyes were bloodshot, and instead of the bright blue Max usually had, they were blood red. The sight of this horrified Max. Who was this pony? A changling? Was it really him? The tattered copy looked down at the table, and without hesitation, downed the entire potion with a manner similar to a pony eats something after going 4 days without food.

"Oooohhh yeah. That's the stuff." The clone said. Its voice was slightly different. It was more gravel like, with a noticeable edge.

"Max! You need to stop this!" A voice in the darkness called out.

"Yeah, you are literally killing yourself! Stop this!" Another voice rang. A second spotlight came on in the otherwise pitch black void. Dogboots and Corkscrew stood in that spotlight, with clear concern on their faces.

"Shut the buck up, you two! I can drink whatever the hell I want." The doppelganger barked.

"Please, we only want to help!" Dogboots pleaded.

"Help?! Like locking up my lab, forcing me to BUY these things? Making me broke? Screw you guys! I don't need you two foulholes!

"Stop talking to them like that!" Max finally interjected with a yell. Nopony could here him.

"Fine. If that's how you feel, so be it. Your on your own. Enjoy your life." Dogboots said coldly. Him and Corkscrew turned around and began walking away.

"NO! That isn't me! I'm right here! DONT GO! I DONT WANT TO BE ALONE!!" Max cried out. Too late, they were gone.

"You stupid son of a bi-" Max turned to see that the clone was gone. I mirror took its place. It showed that Max now looked just like the duplicate that just ruined his only friendships.

"No! That isn't me! I'm not like that! No! NO! NOOOOOOOO!"

 

Max practically jumped off his cloud, being snapped awake. He was too shocked to use his wings as he fell from the cloud, landing on the roof of the restaurant. He tumbled down it, falling again, this time onto one of the tables that was outside.

Max rolled of the table, seeing he was laying at the hooves of Corkscrew. He opened his mouth to talk, only to gasp for air like a fish, the fall winded him badly. He finally regained the ability to breathe, coughing violently for a bit before speaking.

"Sorry to drop in unannounced." Max attempted humor, but delivery was weak.

Seeing that Corkscrew wasn't gonna be back for a while Storm Cloud just left the Sugarcube Corner. He was going to the city hall to buy a house, but then it hit him: he wanted a house on a cloud. But no, not just any cloud, a gray cloud. So he bolted off to city hall and left a trail of small jolts of electricity behind him. He went to the mayor and asked "Can I please have a house on a gray cloud? I know it sounds far-fetched but if you think about it, a gray cloud suits me well."

 

(My OC may be a bit OP to some people but yeah, his special thing is he's a really fast flyer, who leaves jolts of electricity depending on his speed. But he only leaves jolts if he reaches a certain speed, which is a high speed. Anyways, can anypony RP as the mayor or can I just RP with the mayor just this once?)

Mayor Mare looked up from her desk at the gray pegasi who had just barged into her office without so much as letting her secretary know. She began to glare at the receptionist who was shrugging it off like nothing had happened. "I'm guessing your parents never taught you how to knock have they?" She said remarking the stallion's actions. Mayor Mare sighed and began going through some of the paper work. "Do you honestly think that I can give out random houses every time some new mare or stallion comes into town? Heck, I remember seeing a stallion about a month ago camping out cause he had no where to live. If you want this house you need to pitch in to the community. Now, what line of work are you in?" She asked the gray pegasi. Mayor Mare already had an idea what it was, but it was part of the process.
