Super Pony Battle Royale - Oringinal OCs Needed, and Others Needed

I can do music for this. My question is what music would you want, and would you want a theme for every pony, or just one them for the entire game.

The Music is instrumental for some OCs there themes are diffrent genres. One OC is Dubstep and another is Country and a another is Rock. Also its a theme for everypony.

Well, I don't know if he can be in the game. I'm pretty sure Hasbro won't care, as he is a background pony, but you'll have to ask Lunar Red if he's willing to take the risk of copyright infringement.

Well technically any pony is under the copyright of hasbro. That includes all the ones made in the generator. Which is copyrighted by hasbro and all the components. Hasbro though supports fanon content. So no my character will not bring infringement just as much as any other OC or background pony. Same applies for the mane six.

Ok sign me up.  I've always wanted to do something like this.   I can do the music if you don't have anyone else.  I can do everything but the electronic music stuff.  i'm more suited to instrumentals.

These are just ideas. Also he's still in. /me is coming up with ideas for character themes and what style they are.

Well, Hasbro has become a bit more strict with their content. The reason this game is featuring original characters and locations is because Lunar Red doesn't want his game to get shut down like Fighting is Magic did. So we can't use the Mane 6. OCs, however, do not belong to Hasbro. They didn't create them and they don't own the art style.

 

But I guess your OC gets to be in. Lunar Red is allowing him to be in the game.

I'm wondering... just a suggestion, why don't you just make a custom character feature instead of making them manually one by one? You provide a basic sprite which is customizable and the player can changes the color by themselves. I know that this way you can't battle other OCs, but maybe you can provide a feature like 'import character' so people can share its OC to battle other OCs.

That's a good idea but sadly that would take FOREVER to make considering we have only one programmer. Also that cannot be done with only spriter either.

Really? You can do it like this :

1. Make a basic white earth pony sprite
2. Give horn and wings selection. You can do it with simple "show horn" logic
3. Provide color palette
4. Make a form for name, and battle quotes
5. Save that information is a particular file format, so it can be imported

It may take more time at first, but once it's done, it will work perfectly. If you do it like what you do now, you will remain busy adding people's OCs manually, and release the updates which just contains some new OCs.

The game program it is made with is Gamemaker Studio and from my knowledge of the program it can't do those things you said so I will have to stick to my plan.

Which one do you want to use? Sky Warden is a flier. Cunning Horn is a fighter, but uses weapons. Asnee Hoof is a martial pony. I haven't decided the quotes or pose yet.
