I did read 8-bit Theater and Girly before they finished, and followed Sore Thumbs, Misfile and Questionable Content for a good time despite disliking all three.

The fact that I haven't even heard of any of those except like two or three just shows how many webcomics are really out there. I usually find them through ads while I'm reading other comics so most comics I read tend to be on Keenspot, Drunk Duck or MG Comics.

Only thing I read from Drunk Duck is Soul Symphony, and that's because my best friend makes it.

I mostly follow it to throw him constructive criticism.

I only follow a few on Drunk Duck. There was one that was actually really amazing on there: Edepth Angel. I need to go find that again since I just remembered it's name. It slowed down in recent months but I was so riveted by it. It's sort of a mech type comic in the sense of Escaflowne where the mechs aren't the only thing about the series and there's much happening outside of the mech arena. Dunno if you've heard of Escaflowne but it's the best example I can think of.

 

Ryugou is also on Drunk Duck but it's pretty slow-going and hasn't particularly picked up much yet. It's still only just started though so I wait. It's got a great artstyle though.

You need to read 8-bit theater and Homestuck. 8 bit because its awesome and I always try to promote a fellow goons work. And Homestuck because it is so damn epic. Also I really hope CAD is not brought up in this thread.

I never finished 8-bit. It got a little tedious around the Elven Kingdom arc when they get trapped by the Spider dude so I haven't read anything past that.

Ah yes, the cop-out. One of the few major screw-ups the comic has. Overall I find it enjoyable though despite the fact that once the author gets tired of an idea he just kinda sweeps it under the rug.

But whatever, to me I don't particularly care if the artist is a douche, a pedo or even a serial murderer, if I like a comic I like it and no amount of information not directly dealing with the comic can really change that. =/

 

Even if the rumor is true, I don't have to care for the artist to like the comic.
