Sylvia Striplin- Give Me Your Love: The title track from Sylvia Striplins only solo album from 1981 produced partly by Roy Ayres

And also heard this track which is Bumble Bee Unlimited- Ladybug: produced by Patrick Adams.

It's slightly novelty: it's a love song about a Bumble Bee and a Ladybug and they sing but a lot of it is a conversation the two characters have and it's fun

Wow it has been a long time since anyone posted anything here:

Olympic Runners- Keep It Up

I love this song and have been playing it a lot: A great Disco number with minimal lyrics and tons of Funk

Michael Viners Incredible Bongo Band- Apache

A cover of a 1960s instrumental track by the Shadows, in my opinion M.V.I.B.B cover was better than the original and had lots more Soul and Funk to it, I haven’t heard anybody pull of Apache better than Viner :)

Well, I listen to quite a few 1970's and early 80's disco/funk.  One of my favorites is:

Bee Gees - Stayin' Alive

Kool & the Gang - Jungle Boogie

Did an amazing song called Movin’, but I think there song Sambo is even cooler

Shelia B Devotion- Spacer

Obsessed with this song at present, although don't start crying at the Discoteque :D
