If you're a Ratchet & Clank fan, then you're in serious luck. SCE, along with Insomniac Games and Blockade/Rainmaker Entertainment, and here's a bit of a video of the trailer from YouTube:

 

 

The estimated release date for this movie is in two years, or around 2015, so, love it or hate it, you'd be the judges.

I actually have a good feeling about this. Their is plenty of material there for a featured film and i'm actually pretty excited for it.

I am looking forward to this movie, and no doubt this will be accompanied by another Rachet and Clank game.  Great game so I can't wait.

I agree with both of you. Ever since last year's Wreck-It Ralph has become a box office hit, there's no doubt that many video game franchises deserve to have their own movies.

Ratchet and Clank was one of those things I always wanted to get into but never bothered to wither becuase of time, money, or laziness. Still though this looks fairly promising. Hopefully I can play a few games in the series before the movie comes out so I can be properly exicted.

 

Though if I could get a bit off topic this REALLY makes me wish there was a Sonic The Hedgehog movie. I always wanted one since the Night of the Werehog short was released for Sonic Unleashed. The director of Wreck it Ralph is a pretty big Sonic fan hence the reason Sonic is on the poser for the movie and has several cameos. I'd like it if Sega made a deal with him to make a Sonic movie like this. I can only dream...

I have heard a lot of good things about the series, yet I haven't played it. Although i really hope to get some of the games at some point.

I doubt they may not remember it. I'll always remember Ratchet and Clank, no matter how many years would pass by, just like Half-Life, Sonic, Portal, even Killzone series.
