Centralized avatar management is a planned feature for the Poniverse network, so it would be a bit redundant to put developer time into making all the magic happen to sync up with IP.Board now when Poniverse will eventually replace the avatar management on both MLP Forums and Pony.fm anyway.

 

I'm planning to add the ability to upload your own avatar to Pony.fm in the meantime, as that's something relatively simple; but syncing data with IP.Board is definitely not simple, so it has to really be worthwhile to do that. Username, password, and email syncing are available because those are critical parts of anyone's account.

Well, I asked and you answered. I can see why you'd rather use a central avatar for an entire network.

On the navbar, hover over your name in the navbar, go to "My Account" and "Avatar Settings"
