"So are the haycakes... Geez, this chef really knows how to cook."

Nightfall took another bite and sunk into a world created by bliss. When he opened his eyes again, everything was dreamy, and he saw Ocean as the first thing he saw. He blinked, and blushed as the dreamy feeling fell away.

 

Ocean noticed the way he looked at her and also blushed.

She levitated another little bit of her waffle to her mouth before she looked out the window again. "So wafht do youhafve *Gulp* Excuse me...sorry. What do you have planned for today?" She asked, still blushing.

"And while I came here alone, relaxing alone might get... I might get lonely if I relaxed alone, I think."

"Oh... I'm not sure..." Firebolt said, rubbing her hoof against the floor nervously. She didn't really know what was on the ship, so she'd just have to agree with what Windy had suggested. "Actually, Mini-golf sounds fun." She said, looking back up at him with A nervous smile.

"I-I'm fine. Yes they are, that's the letter L, like in Laray" He said putting on a smile for the mare. "The second letter is also the same which is the letter, A. Like the word, Alpha." The stallion said pointing on the page.

 

"What's that smell? Oh wait, that's her perfume. It smells nice."

 

Dogboots nonchalantly tried scooting his seat closer to the mare. The stallion soon opened up another book though it was rather a small short book titled, "ABC's for Fillies".  Dogboots soon opened it up and began pointing out both letters that he had referenced from the other book in this small book.

'I see," Laray said after the explanation. "And there's the same letter in the middle of my name."

She pointed to an "R" and circled it with her hoof. 

"I don't recognize that letter," Laray pointed to the letter "Q" and frowned. "It looks a bit like another letter, but different.."

"That's the letter, Q. And your right its similar to the letter O. The only difference would be the pronunciation of these letters." He instructed the mare. Dogboots soon went over all the letters that were in her model name as well.

With a bit of hesitation, Windy replied, "Well, as long as you're ok with playing it, then I guess there's no problem... I just don't want to pressure you into something you won't think is fun. But if you really do want to do it, then I guess that's great! Wanna go there now?" Windy said, gesturing towards the upper deck, where the mini-golf course was.

I don't really have anything planned either." She said, before taking a few more bites of her waffles. "I mean...if you want to...be lonely...alone...that's okay too..." She said, blushing slightly. She smiled. "I know. I feel the same way. Every time I'm around you, I just....I...everything becomes....better. You either make me laugh or smile...in a good way. I mean..." she giggled a bi and looked down. "I'm sorry. I'm really bad at this. The point is, I love you."

 

He's so close. Look at that mouth, those lips. Do it, do it!

 

No way. The colt should start, right? Then again, I've technically already kissed him, but I was running away forever, practically! And it was short, it doesn' count!

She pulled his head a little bit closer, and began to kiss him passionately.

All he had hoped... all he had wished for... all of that concerning Windy Scamper came true in this very moment. Nopony was disturbing them, it was just Scamps and him. With their lips still being held together, Airy laid his fore hoof around Scamps' neck and gently pulled her closer to him. Holding her body in his hooves while feeling her lips lying on his ones... Airy often had asked himself what a perfect moment could be like. Maybe he just had found it...

 

A while later - Airy had no idea how long that was - Scamps slowly lifted her lips from his ones. Airy's heart was beating about twice as fast as usual, and it felt like three times as strong.

"Thank you... thank you for all you have done. Are you... feeling better?"

Maybe the question sounded a little strange for that situation, but he still wasn't sure about what Scamps now was up to, and now he wouldn't want her to leave at all...

"Sure." Firebolt said. Despite her best efforts, her voice still sounded slightly unenthusiastic. That difference could really only be heard by those who either were amazing at reading ponies, had an incredible auditory memory, or just knew her well. Instead of giving Windy time to think, though, Firebolt began trotting in the direction she believed the upper deck was. "Come on, Slowpoke!" She said playfully, with a voice that was far too chipper for a mare who was rarely chipper.

"Hey, how dare you call Windy Runner a slowpoke!" Windy yelled jokingly, trotting faster to catch up to Bolt, and inwardly glad that she was a lot more enthusiastic about it then before. "Hehe, I'll bet you'll pay for that slow comment on the mini-golf green! I'm an expert at mini-golf! Well, not really, but me and my friend Fondue once turned the Ponyville town green into one! The Mayor was... less than pleased, but still!" Windy said happily as the two headed up towards the mini-golf course. Thankfully, Bolt's sense of direction was much better than Windy's, and very quickly they saw it up ahead.

Airy nodded slowly. "I said that I wouldn't stop you from leaving the ship, and I wasn't lying. But... it would have hurt me if you had left. After all that happened... I think... no, I know that you are the pony I need in my life to fully find myself again after I lost everything back on that day..." He took a short glance at his wheelchair. "You made me forget all that pain that came with the accident, pain I still suffer from... but not when you are around. I... I just have no words to describe what an impact you have been on me, how important you have become, how happy I am to have found you... I just have no words."

He gently pulled Scamps closer to hug her. "You did not turn me down because of my disability... no, it even was the reason I met you after all. And if not being able to fly is the price for meeting you... it was worth all of it."

Firebolt soon slowed down to a walk when she saw the course. She made no remark to Windy's story, but it did amuse her slightly. "It looks like were here..." Firebolt said. She had never played this game before, and it looked a bit... Odd. There weren't any courses around where she lived, so this was her first time seeing it in general.

He smiled at the waiter, then took a sip of his tea. Since the waiter had refilled it, it was still really hot, so he resisted the urge to spit it out, and swallowed it just about painfully.

"One with drinks...I mean, there are snacks there too...but its focused around drinks. I saw a few drunk ponies there when I was boarding." She said, drinking her own tea, completely oblivious to the temperature...well, sorda. She knew it was hot but it barely effected her.

Windy Scamper smiled back up at Airy, tears of joy streaming down her face as he held her. "I wish I could give all that back to you. Because you don't deserve to be stuck here on the ground, and nopony...certainly not me...is worth the price of your wings and hooves."

 

There's got ti be something I can do. I'm not adoctor, there's no way I can fix him. Planes are too expensive, even if I built it myself So....wait a minute! I got it!

 

She looked into his eyes as a grin spread across her face. "And who said you couldn't fly? Because I know exactly how to get you in the air."

Walking into the entrance and grabbing a putter and two balls, Windy tossed another one to Bolt. "Here you go Bolt! Let's go over to the first hole." Trotting over, Windy put his ball down and begun lining up his first shot. Pausing right before shooting, he looked up. "Uh, Bolt? Just making sure, you know how to play, right? Do you need any help?"

 

"Well, if she doesn't know how, this will be a great, if cliched, opportunity to wrap my hooves around her to 'help'... Hehe, I'm a mad genius sometimes!"

"Uh... Not really." Firebolt said a bit nervously. She was inspecting the metal object Windy had given her. "Actually..." She began "I've made something like this before. Well, it was copper. But, as far as using it goes..." Firebolt had never even seen a pony use one of these things before...

"Oh! Well, in that case, how about you go first? I'll help you out." Windy said, gesturing Bolt to walk up to where he had been standing. "So to hold the putter, you just hold it in your hooves like so," he said, demonstrating the grip using his putter. "And no using magic, that's cheating!" he added as an afterthought, chuckling. Stepping up behind Bolt as she lined up in front of her ball, Windy wrapped his hooves around to help hold hers steady. "See, you just hold it like so, and then just hit straight! And don't worry, you'll get the hang of it super quick!" he said, glad she couldn't see his face from the angle he was standing at, since he could feel his scumbag face beginning to blush again. "Go ahead, take the shot!" he said encouragingly.

"No magic?" Firebolt whined, playfully. It didn't make much sense to hold anything without using magic. She wasn't used to it either. The lack of precise one's hooves had when compared to magic was a large amount. Regardless, she attempted to hit the ball. Poorly.

 

((Since this RP doesn't really have a DM right now, Ill say it here. I'll probably control another character at some point... She will only be a comedic prop, really, and will rarely be around..... So, uhm, yea.))

"Oh... Drunk ponies... Well, I guess it would be hard to be on a ship like this for the amount of time we'll be on it without running into drunk ponies at least once... You know, as bad as it may be, it's kinda true..."

He sat back, waiting for his own tea to cool before he sipped it again.
