Colette found 'Rainbow' getting stranger and and stranger the more she spoke with her… She was doing a better job claiming she was from Equestria! "Your rib's broken! You gotta go home and get some rest!" Colette protested before turning around. Mighty convenient she forgot…

 

Colette turned around as Rainbow dressed herself, busying herself with checking texts, looking to see if she had any new voicemails from mom or dad, and wondering what else she could ask...? Wait, she said her friends were here?? “So, you said your friends are here in Racine?? Where do they live?? Are they close??” No answer. Figures.

 

Colette opened her browser on her phone when she heard Rainbow cough. “I can fix you something when I get you to my place. Ain't no way you're eating the food here!” She said as the nurse from before entered the room, pushing in a wheelchair. “Miss Dawson, it's time to go!"

Racine; so they place they were in was called Racine. Rainbow filed the fact away to help her as a nurse brought in a wheelchair.

 

Rainbow rolled her eyes and took a seat. She knew the drill well enough. No sense putting up a fight when it would just drag things out. She'd get out of here sooner that way. Although, as Colette suggested, a nap didn't sound too bad right now. Maybe she could find a nice tree when she got out of her, or maybe Colette would let her crash on her couch. That didn't sound bad right now. Especially if she was going to get food that wasn't hospital grub. Rainbow wasn't all that short on cash, but she didn't exactly have any on her, and she wasn't sure when the next time she visited First Equestria Standard Bank would be.

 

"Okay, I could go for some dinner. Lead away, stranger." Rainbow meant to gesture ahead with a wing, which was way more epic, but wound up having to settle for an arm and the sting in her hurt. It probably looked pretty stupid.

As soon as Rarity had finished her shower, she was tired. She changed into a pair of pyjamas she'd gotten with the other clothes, and went to bed in the guest room. Part of her hoped that it would end up being all a dream, but when she awoke in the morning, she found it was all too real.

Cicada awoke suddenly to find Murray next to her. "Well," she said. "This is unexpected. Did you expect me to be gone during the night or something?" She laughed.

Charles shut down his computer after he send a e-mail to his pall work for the NSA for a favor, he will check it in the morning while he heading to his room, taking his clothing off, then put his PJ on then went into the covers as he went to sleep and getting up in the morning while setting the alarm on so this way nothing will happen to them.

"Calm down! Come back to the apartment and we can talk about this" Aly said to Fluttershy and motioned for Alex to pick her up bridal style so he could bring her up. Alex picked her up and was amazed at how light she was. "Whoa, are your bones hollow or something?" Alex joked.

 

Alex had brought her back to the apartment and set her down on the couch. "Alright, don't go jumping out of anymore windows else i might get fired for being really late" he told her and went back downstairs and outside to get to work.

 

Magneus was still on the computer when Alex set her down. "Jumping out of windows eh? Am I really that bad?" he joked. "Just kidding. But seriously, why did you leave?"

Were her bones hollow? That was a good question. It certainly didn't feel like it.

Fluttershy struggled in Alex's grip, but even if she hadn't been weakened by a fall, she wouldn't have been able to break free. She was carried all the way back to the apartment quite ignominiously, and locked inside.

 

Magneus sat on the couch like nothing was wrong, trying to talk to her. Fluttershy spun when the front door wouldn't open and glared at him, fixing him with her firmest Stare. She was protecting her animal friends now, and fear wouldn't be allowed stop her.

"You let me go," she demanded as coldly as Fluttershy was capable of being--a sort of lukewarm. "You let me go and you stop eating anyone!"

Emily turned to face Moonstruck and turned a slight pink as she let out a small laugh. "Uh...M-Moonstruck...where are your clothez ?" She asked, turning off the stove. "Oh wait I guess zey are all dirty...'ere, you can borrow some of mine." She smiled at took Moonstruck by the hand. Emily led her down the hell to the master bedroom where Emily started rummaging through a wardrobe.

Moonstruck smiled vaguely as she was led towards the bedroom. Emily's hand was very warm and soft, and fun to hold. "This is all very nice of you," Moonstruck said, eyes twinkling. She pointed at a strange cupped thing in one of the opened drawers. It had straps connecting the cups in very odd ways. "What's that?"

Liam cringed at the sound of the fork scraping across the plate. "Yeah... try not to do that. Just... hold the fork like this, and you make sort of a combination of a stabbing and scooping motion to spear food and bring it up to your mouth." He demonstrated the motions slowly so that she could see. "And yes, pretty much all humans eat like this. Some people use chopsticks, but those certainly aren't any easier."

 

Star copied Liam's motions and managed to pick up the whole pancake. She frowned and looked at Liam. "So...you eat it like this ?" She asked, leaning down to take a bite of the pancake which ended up falling back to her plate with a small *Smack* "Why not just use your mouth...like ponies ?"

It makes sings more comfortable." She said, pulling out some blue pants, a darker blue t-shirt some fluffy socks, pink panties, and a simple white bra. "Zese should fit you." She said.

Magneus sighed and shook his head. "I don't eat people, thats cannibalism. As for pigs? From what I have heard, animals are probably a lot smarter in your world. Here though? There are very few uses for them. Food, Labor, Entertainment (Zoos), Pets. Eating animals is a normal thing here and no matter where you go if you leave, you will 100% find someone that eats meat. Here on earth you don't just become friends with all the animals. Only domesticated animals can you really become 'friends' with. If you would be stupid enough to try and treat a tiger with a wound, you would be dead faster than you could say 'eep'. Animals are not the same here as your little 'peace is law' world" he told her without a grain of care for her feelings at the moment, she needed to understand.

Unfortunately for all parties involved, Fluttershy did not understand.

 

 Learning that all the humans ate other animals made Fluttershy begin to quiver from the tip of her toes. When she was told that she couldn't become friends with animals here, she began to shrink, her determination quavering in the face of being yelled at by another pony--something Fluttershy had never been very great at handling. When Magneus told her that she couldn't try to treat a poor tiger if it was hurt, that was a bit too much to take.

 

It was as if she'd been told--to her it was as if it had been declared that love and kindness couldn't always overcome violence, the tenet she held as dear as her own friendships. Fluttershy wasn't astonished at the anger that fluttered in her chest, but didn't know what to do about it.

 

For a minute, she tried to see it from his point of view--that was only fair, wasn't it? Griffons ate meat, Fluttershy knew, but she had always hated Gilda for that and any other number of reasons. Even dragons in Equestria didn't consume live beings for food. The most predatory thing they were liable to do would be to steal pheonix eggs and smash them for no reason other than destruction.

 

No; there wasn't anything in Equestria that could make Fluttershy feel better about this. Or, even more importantly, make okay the true reason she'd tried to run away--what had stirred in her mind when she'd looked at printed image of cooked bacon on the package and her first thought had been that it looked yummy.

 

But she couldn't escape now. Fluttershy's eyes darted to the door, locked tight, and she knew she couldn't get it open if she tried. She didn't want to be around Magneus right now, because it felt like condoning the killing of innocent creatures. She needed to get out, away from that refrigerator, but she couldn't do it on her own. So she sunk her head sullenly and said the only escape route she could think of.

He steps away, walking back to the desk and retrieving his firearm before walking towards the exit to the study, "I'm going to go put something in for dinner. Feel free to stay up here and read, or look around the house for yourself." He stops an pivots on his heel, peeking back in, "You don't have any sort of preference of food do you? As in meat or a more vegetarian diet?"

 

"Yes, 'my Queen'." He says, narrowing his eyes at her, "You've heard of us before? Odd. I was under the impression we didn't exist here previously... But no matter, you don't need to.. what was it you said? Google? You don't need to do whatever that is. I can prove to you that we're real, if you so wish."

He crosses his arms as he says this, quietly adding, "You're still younger than I am," and then sinking into silently talking to himself, "Why would I appear younger..? Either it's our my biology playing a joke on me, or the fact that I was in the middle of a transformation when the spell hit." He catches himself speaking out loud, though quiet, and stops talking altogether, instead he looks at Rachel, awaiting her response, "I'll try and get into touch with the Queen and Cicada after I learn a little more.."

 

"In Equestria, we really only eat plants," Twilight responded, "If that's what you mean by vegetarian, then my preference is on the vegetarian side."

Twilight Sparkle never did eat meat back in Equestria, but the thought of eating another animal would probably be quite alien to her.

She pushed open the door and walked to an elevator, pressing the 'up' button. Her brow was furrowed, in a way Cat knew meant she was thinking, and thinking hard.

After leaving and hitching a trolley back to his hotel, he kept thinking how strange it was with Reggie cutting in for Applejack.

Liam smiled. "Well, you can always ask me questions, and I'll do my best to answer them. I really enjoy it, actually. It allows me to see the differences between your world and mine, which I think is fascinating. To answer the questions you just asked: yes, humans do get married. As for what humans do in their spare time, I guess it depends quite a bit on the individual. Personally, I mostly like playing and listening to music, and drinking with friends. And breasts are for feeding babies... foals, I guess you'd call them. They produce milk which the babies drink when they aren't old enough for real food."
