Stumped on Signature design.

So i am trying to make a new signature based off a song. The song is about a popular "game" in parts of Asia known as "Hide and Seek Alone". These are the attempts I have made. I have a idea I want to try to incorporate in my signatures. but as the title states, I am stuck.

 

Here are my rough ideas for what I am trying to achieve.

 

 

 

 

 

 

So from what you can see in these 3 slightly different versions is a malevolent girl, and some splattered blood. I am trying to go for a creepy or "grim" feeling. I am not sure how to hit the target I want. So for anyone experianced with signatures, I'd appreciate any tips for trying to add "creepy" or a more of a "macabre" theme. 

 

I am still new-ish to making signatures.

I'm diggin' #3, but the character on the right needs to be different. Perhaps the character from 1&2, or maybe you have a different character? I... I really don't know, I'm not familiar with this...

Yeah I am trying to find the "right" image of her. If not I might have to result to drawing one myself. I am just not sure if what I am trying to do is actually working. As I am aiming for a creepy, dark theme with this signature.

If you are confident of your ability to successfully succeed at drawing the character, then by all means, DO IT! You'll get more satisfaction out of something you created yourself anyway.

That is true. Perhaps I will work on that. As I do this at the same time with what the internet provides xD.

I'd say you should merge elements from all three examples you've shown.

 

For the girl with the blood splatters, I'd say keep her glowing red with black bruising (making her look dark, try burning the image) and maybe she'll look good with that. Also, make her around the size you had in the third example.

For the girl on the right, I'd say keep her how she is in the first two, but add a couple duplicates under her to make her have a blurry, white aura around her. And, maybe, add some light red highlights (very light, just to compliment the darkness of the left image if you choose to go that route as well) on her body as well.

 

And for the text, try bringing it down more and maybe make it a bit bigger. It looks at bit weird being that far near the top

I don't know, man... That looks pretty good... Definitely better than the first 3 IMO. I don't know about you, but I kind of like the effect the blurred text gives.

I took your advise, and this is what I came up with.

 

 

 

I am very happy with this result so far. I think i might have it complete soon. Thanks for all the help  I think I just need to make the font just a wee bit bigger.
