If you could make your own spin-off...

Personally, I have no problem with the Equestria Girls thing. However, I was thinking...if you bronies could make your own spin-off, what would it be?

 

My idea is this: The ponies end up in an alternate version of our world (where they weren't created as show characters, so nobody knew who they were). The series would basically be a comedy involving them trying to adapt to our world (and spread love and tolerance ). Also, I picture it as being a mix of animation and live action (the ponies are animated but everything else is real--since they're in the real world ).

 

I wonder what they would call that show xD

I wouldn't mind seeing a Hercules style spin off. It could be interesting seeing Twilight earn her right as Princess through trials. (Not ponifying the story of Hercules, but just as an example to give the idea a foundation.)

I would 100% make the Fallout: Equestria movie, I'd make the first one about the build-up to the war, and a sequel about the aftermath 200 years later.

 

I would use the legendary fanfic as a springboard to make an amazing movie.

I'll take a spin-off where all of Equestria becomes aware of MLP's existence as a cartoon show. I await hilarious existential-crisis-related antics. Tune in next week as Twilight and the gang discover the true nature of their destinies.

OK here is my pitch

 

 

Imagine an Anime with Trixie. Trixie wanted to try to get her revenge on Twilight after her plan failed but when she approached Twi, she saw Celestia was nearby. Not wanting to anger the queen of the kingdom/goddess of the sun, she feigned regret and asked forgivness from Twi. Twilight believed her act and Trixie got away.

 

Now Trixie is on a quest to travel across Equestria, and eventually the world, to become the greatest unicorn of all time, and defeat Twilight Sparkle, her rival, (Even if Twilight doesn't know she's her rival.) She is accompanied by her sidekick, Derpy, a ditzy pegasus who follows Trixie claiming to be on an important delivary.

 

The series would be episodic, and focus on world building and the character development of Trixie as she meets people, and sees how others live and act. The series would be darker, but mainly handle mature themes, like death, revenge and such. Nothing too explicit, like no gore or lewd acts or anything though, I'd say 13 and older would be OK to watch this.

 

oh yeah and trixie would totally be tsundere for twilight through the whole thing

  I was actually thinking about this a few days ago.  I like the fanon that Vinyl Scratch and Octavia are roommates, and think it could make an interesting spin off.  The show would follow their day to day lives and mostly be lighthearted, though more mature issues could get dealt with from time to time.  I see it being more a sitcom-type show, like an expanded version of Epic Wub Time. 

 

  There could also be a show about the Wonderbolts.  More Spitfire and Soarin couldn't hurt  .

I'd love to see an MLP:FiM series that has the same character style, the same Production Bible as MLP:FiM, but that brings the stories into the intensity level of "Young Adult."  (Kind of how "Legend of Korra" did for "Last Airbender," or how the latter books in the Harry Potter series were so deep and riveting compared tot he lighter first books in the series.)

 

I'd love to see that series have a single story-arc throughout each new season of it... a story-arc that told of histories that shaped Equestria, like the story behind Nightmare Moon, the founding of Equestria, Starswirl the Bearded, etc.

Well, I'd love a spin-off about the history of Equestria, which could go in depth on the backstories of some the antagonists and other characters, such as Starswirl the Bearded, Clover the Clever, and others, and do some serious world-building.

 

Other than that, a series starring Trixie, Gilda, and Lightning Dust, because I love all three of them and I demand it.

If I were to make a spin-off I would make one aimed for bronies. I would make one that's in the past or in the far future. Where one or a group of ponies would either explore the dangerous place controlled by chaos or a blast to the past, finding out what the elements of harmony really are and the truth behind Celestia, Luna and perhaps even her Parents. Perhaps a animation series of the wonderful fanfic known as "The Immortal Game". It would be a lot of darker than MLP but if I had the power I would definitely make this but with an art style bordering between realistic and cartoony.
