So, I am going to be getting a Nintendo 3DSXL soonish and am wondering what games I should get? I am already going to get the Profressor Leighton games and the new Luigi's Mansion game, but what other ones should I get? (note I like the ones like Brainetics, that make you think etc)

Pokemon X/Y.

Kid Icarus.

Fire Emblem: Awakening.

Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time.

Luigi's Mansion.

You should also check out the Virtual Console functionality: there's save states (or as Nintendo would like to call them, "restore points"). And there's a good bit of download titles:

- Crashmo

- Mighty Switch Force

- old DSiWare stuff

- you can even download games that are sold as retail game cards

Hm, another one? In my opinionn the standard essentials are:

Resident Evil Revelations

Kid Icarus Uprising

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate(if you can't get it for Wii U)

Plus there's a ton of awesome stuff still coming like Pokemon X/Y and Zelda, point is you should find plenty.

Ok so YAY! I got my 3DS today and my games, (which I will list later on), but some of the registration codes/pins are not like the others, like they are too short or something, what do I do? Do I need to call up Nintendo for assistance with this?

Pre-ordered X/Y and Donkey Kong Country returns, none of them are out in my country yet, and my wife has the Zelda: Ocarina of Time game

These are the Games I highly Recommend. First of all, For Pokemon Black & White 2 matters and have either one of these 2 versions, You wanna Get Pokemon Dream Radar if you want more Pokemon and Items.

 

For 3DS games, Yeah the ones that were Mentioned above were recommended.There's also Star Fox 64 3D and If you like Animal Crossing Series, then Get Animal Crossing: New Leaf. There's also Pokemon Rumble Blast and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity If you like to play these 2 games.

 

For 3DS Virtual Console Games and games from eShop, There's Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX and then Later on, There will be Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and Seasons. There's also some 3D Classic Games such as Excitebike, Kid Icarus, and Kirby's Adventure if you like to play those and of course there's some NES games available to download as well and of course for those with the ambassador certificate, we get those games for Free. GBA Games will come in Later for Download, but some of us have and downloaded those games.

 

also Note that the Retail Games also available to download. For Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, The DLC dungeons are optional if you want more music, and dungeons to explore.
