One of the slaves got up and yelled "THIS IS SPARTA!" and shot laser beams out of his eyes at the slaver flogging his fellow slave.

But the shot was inaccurate and hit a nearby factory instead, which then blew up, in which then the slave is taken to an underground prison for having super powers.
