Clopping has become a popular and controversial subject in the forums, so out of boredom I made survey! I can also see roughly the percent of forum members who clip or have clopped and so can you guys. Feel free to comment what you selected in the poll (if you want to) or comment about anything pertaining to the survey or clopping.

While I've seen R34 ponies, I've never clopped to them. I've even played Banned From Equestria (Daily) the whole way through, but I just don't get sexually excited. It's cartoons, so it just doesn't do it for me.

I find it curious that apparently people who have clopped and clopped more than once do not consider themselves cloppers. I guess if you're like British Brony, that does actually apply. So perhaps there are folks who have tried it and decided it wasn't for them.

This is actually just what I was going to ask. I haven't done either, but a clear and cut definition on what "clopping" is would help.

That's sort of one the reasons why I said this may give me a skewed view of how many cloppers there are.

 

For all I know, everyone who clops could've rushed to this topic to answer it, not to mention this forum doesn't exactly represent every Brony out there. For all we know, this forum could have up to one out of three people having clopped, compared to a much lower number fandom-wide.

I would say that I'm not a clopper in the sense that I don't go out and actively search for pictures, fics, etc. But if I happen to stumble upon something on Twitter or something I just sort of think "Well, I'm already here".

Unless it is anthro I don't think it really counts but I don't really have too much of an issue with it either way.I find it interesting how some people voted yes for questions 1&2 but no for one, that is a little strange but whatever.

 

I think there is a lot of people that don't want to fess up to it and I myself have mixed feelings about saying that I am one not because I am ashamed or anything like that but because it really is nobody's business but at at the same time there are a lot of people that do feel guilt and shame about it and while I don't think it is approrpriate to shout it from the rooftops I don't believe anyone should feel any shame from it either. I had made several posts defending cloppers but only said that I was one in response to this one thread this user made where he expressed some discomfort with having those feelings because while I didn't want to steer him in one direction or the other I did want him to know that whatever he chose he shouldn't feel any guilt or shame over it.

Well, as British Brony said, some people may have voted yes for the first two questions because they have clopped before but no longer do it. And it also could be for other reasons. Perhaps someone has clopped before and still does but just doesn't label him or herself a clopper because they enjoy a lot more than just pony porn. Or perhaps it's as Champion said, and it's just on such an infrequent basis that the label of clopper just doesn't sit well with that person.

 

I dunno, there's a lot of technicalities at play here to be honest. It's really up to that person whether or not they consider themselves a clopper or want to be associated with that term.
