Gardenia was visibly more relaxed at this point, and she was fixing herself a small dinner. "Oh, um just..."

 

She was making a small and simple sandwich, couldn't focus enough to make anything more complicated, "Really don't need to mention it was the ninny from yesterday"

 

"One of the stallions playing. And come to think of it, I am not sure when it is exactly. I guess I'll just have to find somepony else tomorrow who knows." She finished making her sandwich and promptly stuffed it in her mouth, so she didn't end up saying something she'd rather not.

Blaze was a tad confused as to why she was so eager to eat her sandwich. "Do flowers really taste that nice?" He asked jokily, before shaking his head. "Well if it's no trouble and there is still time after the event would you like to..." He stopped what he was about to say. "Never mind." He said dissapointingly. He took another sip of coffee just as two ponies entered the room. They were both members of staff and one was his neurology teacher.

"Is everything alright? We heard a scream and came as fast as we could. What's going on?" Asked one of them.

Gardenia paused and mentally face hoofed herself, "Hope he doesn't take that bug comment offensively."

Blaze gave gardenia a murderous look. "Uhh yeah! A very big bug indeed."

His neurology teacher looked at him, before turning to the teacher. "It's fine. I have this." She said, waiting for him to go before turning to blaze. "You told her you were a changeling?"

Blaze shrugged. "It was an accident! I didn't want her to find out it jist happened."

his teacher shook her head. "You're not the smartest mind in the hive you know that? They were pushing it when they let ME in. And if your mother was a changeling too then you wouldn't be so lucky. Be carefull next time or I'll throw in detention. Again." She lectured before leaving. Blaze turned ro gardenia and just shrugged.

Gardenia gave a forced, nervous chuckle, "Erm, I didn't mean mean what I said about the whole big bug thing. It's just... I am so awful at lying, and erm... I was told by somepony that if I have to, say half-truths, and well... changelings do have chitinous exoskeletons..."

 

Gardenia was wearing a big sheepish grin on her face, "I am so sorry! I mean, is being called a bug a common derogatory term? I mean, I just didn't know what to say."

 

Gardenia put her hoof to her face, "I am really so sorry. Um, it was just all so sudden, I am still taking it in. I think I'll have a clearer head in the morning, so... good night, Blaze."

 

Gardenia hopped onto her bed, but before she pulled her covers over her, she asked, "Actually, um, Blaze... do you even need to sleep? Because if you don't, you don't have to stay up in silence on my account. I am rather quite a heavy sleeper, so if you need to catch up on reading or go out to eat something... not that I don't trust you to be in here all night, with me asleep, erm... see you in the morning." She pulled her covers firmly over her head in embarrassment, and quickly fell asleep.

Blaze sighed and shook his head. "No it's fine. I technically am a bug." He laughed. "And I really should try to sleep at some point. I can go a few days before I feel avtad drowzy and well. It's been a few weeks so I will." He climbed into his own bed and tried as hard as he could to sleep. It only took about an hour or so.

He approaches the two and hears the one saying male saying something about relaxing, and electronic to classical. "Sorry for the intrusion, but I like orchestral to dubstep types of music." Arrow thought he should've left out the 'dubstep' part and went with orchestral and rock. Oh well...

 

"Oh!" I say startled at the new ponies presence "Hi!  Well it's a good genre to like isn't it!  Glad to meet a new pony, my name is Cloudchaser," I hold out my hoof to shake "How long have you been at the university?" I ask trying to get to know this new pony as well as I can.

Arrow offers a gentle smile at Luna for her excitement. "Yeah, you could take us there." This is something new... Never thought I would make two friends in one go. He thought to himself as he waited for Cloudchaser to lead them to their dorms. "How did the lock break?" Arrow asked Cloudchaser.

"Well lets go and maybe later today I might practice my clarinet but I don't know and I think that it's a good idea that Arrow wants to be a engineer" Luna said. "Well Cloudchaser is showing the way to his dorm even thought its not to far away from Arrow's and mine" Luna said.

"Its really early to be heading out for the game... I mean, it doesn't start for a couple of hours! Are we just gonna tailgate in the parking lot beforehand? That IS one of the great college experiences, after all...." He said in a falsely happy voice as he followed her out.

Sitting in his bed and sipping water to hydrate for the game, Todd allowed himself a small smile. Everything was going right today. He had received a letter saying his father would be attending his game. That was unprecedented. Not only that, but his friend Chase had that stupid slut on the hook, and would steal her right out from under Runner's stupid nose. This plan was his 'true' senor capstone project. He had realized the night before that no matter how much he beat Runner into the ground and made him miserable, he wouldn't break. Runner was tenacious, he could take it. But his beatdown of Runner in the training center HAD yielded one positive thing: Runner had it bad for that mare. Runner had only attacked him after he had insulted her. So, what better pain to inflict on Runner than emotional pain? Using one of his friends to steal her away from him was a stroke of genius in Todd's opinion. And, according to Chase, it was working so far. Minty was smitten with Chase, and Windy was already pissed at Chase. When Windy finally snapped and attacked Chase, then he would drive Minty away from him for good, and Todd's revenge would be complete. Sitting up in bed and stretching, he chuckled. "This is gonna be a great day..."

"That would be funny actually."
