This new trailer seems awesome! It has Photo Finish, has Twilight running on four legs, and probably my favorite line "So a talking dog is the stragest thing about this?" This movie seems so awesome, I can't even talk!

Thank you for sharing this. Actualy this now makes me a lot more curiouse to at least give it a chance. Although I may not see it in the actual theater due to panic issues and I do not want to have to squeeze in with my service dog, I may consider looking into it on netflix and if I enjoy it then I will definatly purchase it.

Like i said when the I first heard about Equestria girls, this looks amazing. I can't wait to see it... as soon as it's available in the UK.

For the people who disliked it because of the first trailer this may actually get them to change their point of view and maybe give the movie a chance. I liked the first trailer, but this trailer is significantly better and makes me want to see the movie even more. This Trailer did exactly what I would expect from a trailer, it explained the plot without giving away the ending ( but lets get real. The ending only has one possible outcome), it had some pretty decent comedy parts, and the musical bits were right on par with what I would expect from the MLP franchise.

LOL That's how she visits Molestia Anyway it's probably for Lyra since I guess she lives in Canterlot? She was a bridesmaid in a Canterlot Wedding. That's what Lyra does in her free time, she jumps back and forth through that portal.

That was a Trailer. Unlike that first 'you-can-read-everything-into-it' thing.

It will be humorous, I guess. Maybe a bit to musical-teen-movie like, but we'll see. The Music was...meh. A bit less generic than the song in the background in the first 'trailer', but still...meh.

But there is one thing I will, I can never forgive. Spike the dog. It has been said so often now, but he is not a pet. And a dog equals a pet in company to humans. Laugh about or at him, this is the question. I wonder what would happen to other non-pony species that enter the mirror? Could only be answered if this gets bigger than just a movie. Ugh.

For now, all I can say is, I want to watch it. Just to see it, not because I'm excited or really optimistic. But unfortunatly I am here in Germany and with bad luck, we don't even get the DVD in time. So, please, upload or stream it somewhere.

That's not the point though, the point is trying to make is he doesn't want Spike to be a pet to Twilight because he is not her pet in Equestria. I guess they could have turned him into a human, maybe that would have been better? But I think he looks cute as a dog!

Definitely looks better. Spike talks and is - more importantly than his form - not treated like a pet. It looks like there will be more than five minutes of Equestria. The prom-thing is - as it should be - a means to an end. The crown is actually important and not a pretty hat or a test.

 

I still don't get why Twilight isn't stealing claiming the crown as her rightful property. And why is Sunset content to act as High School bully when she should be treating Twilight as a deadly enemy? How can the crown be a legitimate prize when it just appeared out of nowhere a day or so ago?

 

But all right; this trailer is a dramatic improvement in apparent quality.

I have but one question. Why in the world wasn't this the first trailer? This is a good trailer. Ive been reserving my judgment for the film and will continue to do so until I see it. However I was never exited for it, I kinda am now. It looks to retain the things I loved about the core show. The reason for going to the dimension is established as is the significance of the crown. Also Spike talks and has an awesome line. Fun awkwardness is always good as well. And you know what the human designs are growing on me, they don't look too bad in motion.

 I think the team at Hasbro wanted to give you a taste of the film, then see the inertial reactions. They saw that the movie was getting banned on the most part, but since it's only a week or two away, they released this.
