   Draxius has become the source of the fear gripping the hearts of Tamriel's provinces, as have his accompanying generals who help enforce his rule. A powerful ruler and warrior, Draxius once wished to extend his reign far beyond his own region and to be seen as "the new god of mortals", and eventually his ambition drove him to contact the Daedric Lord of Power, Change, and Destruction... Mehrunes Dagon. Unfortunately for the rest of Tamriel, Dagon had long been planning to bring about the Oblivion Crisis once more to finally emerge fully in Tamriel. Seeing the ambition in Draxius, Mehrunes made the warrior his champion, granting him great power and leadership over his legions of dremora and creatures from his plane of the Badlands. Draxius was more than satisfied, and immediately summoned forth his armies of demons to sweep Tamriel with a cruel onslaught. It seemed as if no one would ever be able to stand up against Draxius...

   To make matters worse, Mehrunes Dagon has sent his most powerful dremora to assist this terrible crisis. They are "aspects" of Dagon's power, spreading his influence in Tamriel further amd thus giving him power. They also serve as generals to Draxius, and preside over the conquered provinces of Tamriel.

   The remaining Daedric Lords however, wanted nothing to do with Mehrunes and his champion. Whatever their reasons, whether it be prideful defiance to the growing power Dagon and the other Daedra or out of rare display of pity for mortals, these unallied Daedra called forth their own champions to stand against this rising terrible power...

   Now that we have the main story for the RP down, hello! Brought to you by Ragestar (the one who first  had the idea for an Elder Scrolls RP) and myself, we give you An Elder Scrolls RP (called that for now, at least until we come up with a better name for it!)! This will be an obvious adventure/action RP, and we both hope that it is an enjoyable experience for you participants!

 

Rules

1. No Godmodding. (Your character being a champion to a Daedric Lord, it is obvious they will be rather powerful, being gifted with special powers and items and whatnot. However, this does not mean you are allowed to be completely invincible against all obstacles, and obviously you cannot control another character without permission.)

 

2. No Gary/Mary Stu characters. (C'mon, should be obvious. Your character is in league with a DAEDRA, powerful beings who more often than not do things for their own benefit, and who often call on individuals who have characteristics alike to their personality or ideals.)

 

3. You must have knowledge of how the Elder Scrolls series is like. (It will be a lot less fun if we have to constantly explain to someone completely new to the series what a Daedra is, what a champion is, the different races of Tamriel, the lore, etc, etc. You get the idea.)

 

4. No Dragonborn. (Just no. Most of us already know what the Dragonborn's abilities and mission is, so it'll be boring just seeing the actions of a Dragonborn when we've already seen what he can do in the games.)

 

5. One character per person, and one Daedric Lord for them. (Don't hog all the good Daedra! Plus, try and explain throughout the RP why your particular Prince chose to side with the mortals.)

 

6. Don't derail the overall purpose of the RP. (Since this is an adventure/action styled RP, you are of course free to develop your character freely, incorporating things from their past and having them separate from the group to do their own things. However, whatever you do cannot be taken so far as to make the RP completely about them!)

 

7. Have reasonable gear and Daedric items. (This goes in with godmodding. While you are allowed to have special items and high leveled items, your gear cannot give you an all-powerful edge against all challenges.)

 

8. Propur grammer plz. (No really, please have proper grammar. This includes spelling and punctuation. It is understandable to misspell a word or two or to miss a few punctuations every now and then, but if it is extremely difficult to comprehend what you are trying to say, and if it is an on-going problem... Yeah, I think you get the idea....)

-That should be it for now, I will discuss things with ragestar to see if anything else should be covered by the rules-.

Also, this RP is a joint effort between ragestar and me, meaning that we are co-DMs and allowed to manage the RP and events as we see fit. If you think something we do is unfair, be sure to notify us in a respectful manner.

We have the right to reject your application. This probably won't happen though. However, keep in mind that a few others signed up for this RP in the previous sign-up thread, so if they show a desire to really want to participate, sorry, but they signed up first. If a member chooses to leave, his place can be taken... some way. If we receive an excess number of applications, Ragestar and I will decide who has the better application...

Name: Stygian

Race: Altmer (otherwise known as a High Elf)

Appearance: Stygian's skin is a darker hue of the usual golden color many Altmer have, appearing more like a light bronze color. His eyes are bright orange in color, and again unlike most Altmer, his hair is black and extends slightly below his neck. Tall, his body is a bit more bulkier due to training physically to enhance his combat prowess should he ever be in a situation where magicka is restricted. He has a few scars across his left eye.

Backstory: Born in the Summerset Isles, Stygian was raised to be an exceptional mage, becoming extremely skilled in Alteration, Destruction, and Conjuration magic. He also became a rather well read scholar, and later traveled to Skyrim to test and improve his abilities in the College of Winterhold. In the cold land of the Nords is also where Stygian began to hone his more physical skills to show that he was not a "milk drinker", showing skill with handling one handed weapons and in smithing.
Soon enough however, the tyrant Draxius marched into Tamriel and began to kill off his Elven brethern, most likely out of fear that their extensive knowledge of the arcane could bring down his armies like they did to the armies of the Empire back in the First Great War between Man and Mer. Stygian began to hone his skills more than ever, doing extensive studies of the arcane, lore, and other things to reassure he would be prepared against attacks. This ambition soon caught the attention of the Daedric Prince of Knowledge, Hermaeus Mora, who managed to lure the elf into his realm of Apocrypha....

Gear: Wears black, enchanted robes ornate with strange hieroglyphs and an image of Hermaeus Mora on the back, all of which glow an eerie green when in combat. The robes are enchanted to provide quick magicka regeneration, as well as resistance and a boost to destruction magic. He also wears a pair of boots and gloves, which also have been gifted to him by Mora to provide additional support.
- Stygian mostly gets by using his powerful destruction magic, the rest of his enemies usually getting picked off by his conjured beings. However, he does wield a daedric sword enchanted with fire and shock.
- Another gift from Mora, a strange staff which opens a rift between Apocrypha and Tamriel, impaling a target with a tendril to provide healing.
- Black Books, which he mostly uses as a means to travel to Apocrypha to learn of more dark secrets, as well as to alter and change certain aspects of his magic and abilities.

Name: Rhaz-gesh

Race: Orc

Age: 34

Gender: Male

Appearence: 7,0, 300 lbs, extremely muscular and fit, he has black hair tied back in a ponytail, brown eyes, and a scarron his left cheek.

History: Rhaz-Gesh was born in the imperial city, his mother and father had abandonned him in an orphanage when he was about five, he grew up being bullied, but not many of them lasted very long before rhaz had beaten them to a pulp, but becouse of all of his fighting, he grew up to love it. By the time rhaz was 24 he was leading his own mercenary group, but after many years of it, he eventually decided to disband and become a freelance warrior. One day, .rhaz caught the attention of malacath after killing a tribe of giants by himself, after much consideration, malacath decided to take Rhaz under his wing. After many years of training, rhaz had become extremely powerful, and wanted to use his new strength to help save tamriel from draxius. Rhaz now travels tamriel in search of warriors to join him and defeat the false king.

Gear of choice: fully enchanted deadric armor and a deadric hammer of soul stealing and fear, both were given to him by malacath. rhaz named the hammer death.

Name: Eos Melys (sweet nightingale)

Race: Dunmer

Gender: Female

Appearance: Eos has fairly pale skin by Dunmer standards. Her hair is black and long, but she usually keeps it back and out of her face. She has the standard red eyes of the Dunmer race. She is thin and quick on her feet, and prefers to keep to the shadows to do her work. While she is more accomplished as a mage than as an assassin, she employs both techniques. Personality wise, she is sharp-minded and quick-witted, but can be temperamental. She faces prejudice in Skyrim due to her race. She is in her early twenties or around there.

Backstory: As a young Dunmer in Morrowind, Eos learned magic very quickly-so quickly, in fact, that she made it her goal to be the greatest mage of all time and to become the Arch-Mage of the College in Skyrim, where she faced much less prejudice. Excelling in all her fields (except Restoration, which she never quite got the hang of), Eos felt prepared to leave the college after her twentieth birthday, and get on with her life.

However, getting a good job when you're an Elf is difficult in Skyrim, and she was forced to resort to stealing, her magical power becoming useless to her in many cases besides Illusion. Unfortunately, she was caught one day, and was forced to flee the scene. The guards of the city pursued her and managed to catch up with her. Trapped in a corner, she grasped at the wall behind her, and found something hard and small-a key. Managing to slip into the shop she was backed up against and escape, she noticed that it was not an average key-and it was not, as the voice of Nocturnal filled her. Convinced she was the blessed of the Night Mistress, she joined the Thieves Guild, and upon showing them the artifact realized that it was stolen from her. Returning it to its proper place, Nocturnal raised her to join the Nightingales, and became a servant to Nocturnal forevermore. She now carries out her mistresses bidding without hesitation. Though the night is now her veil, she still finds her magic is handy, but she does not follow that path any longer.

Gear of Choice: Besides her Nightingale Armour, she uses the Nightingale Blade and Bow. She also has a ring that increases her magical regeneration and an amulet that increases her mana.

Chosen Daedra: Nocturnal (patron of thieves, often tied with luck and shadow)

Name: Alzack

Race: 3/4 Nord 1/4 Redguard

Gender: Male

Age: 23

Appearance: Despite being more Nord than Redguard, Alzack has dark skin, his grandfather's reguard blood runs heaviest in him. He has ragged short black hair, with a longer braid down the right side of his face.

Height: 6'3"

Weight: 182 lbs.

Gear: Nordic carved armor. Ebony Blade which he wields with one hand.

Champion of Mephala

History: As a youth(16 years) , Alzack was wandering in a ruin, obviously against his family's instructions, and discovered a large broken sword, black as night. As he drew closer to the blade he began to hear whispers, and upon picking it up, he blacked out.

When he awoke, he was standing in his home, covered in blood, and standing above the slain bodies of his family, with the dark sword in his hand, fully restored. Alzack was frightened, and began to cry, until he heard comforting words in his head, the voice of Mephala, disguised as his mother. The voice explained to him that there was no reason to worry, and that there was nothing wrong.

Alzack left his home, the blade strapped to his back, comforted by the words he thought had come from his ascended mother, who's soul resided within the sword he now carried.

Personality: Alzack is a nice guy, really, but whenever he becomes close to someone, he looses himself, and when he comes to, they are dead. Slain by his hand, and that of his weapon. Thus, he began to avoid people, not trusting anyone, and not allowing anyone to trust him, in hopes that he will not take any more lives unnecessarily. He began to work as a solo mercenary to earn money to survive, and he has gotten along pretty well so far.

Gender: male
Age: ??
Appearance: pale with long silver hair and yellow eyes. Usually has a mischevious smile.
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 150 lbs.
Gear: dark robes with green trimmings. Seemingly bottomless pockets. Wabbajack.
Champion of sheogorath!!
History: not much is known of him. He was supposedly a beggar before sheogorath chose him as his champion because he smelled nice. After living with sheogorath for years, he obtained wabbajack after slapping a dragon. Sheogorath thought he was crazy for it, so he rewarded him with the staff. He trained for years under the god, learning many secrets. But sheogorath soon sent him to the mortal world to cause madness and chaos!
Personality: basically like a combo of sheogorath and discord's personalities. He loves pranks and milk, especially chocolate.
Side notes: can seem overpowered. he is very random and spontanious. He also tends to break the fourth wall. He's a brony! And lastly, he learned teleportation from sheogorath.

Name: Gildred

Race: Imperial

Gender: Female

Age: 19

Appearance: On the tall side, pale skin, long black hair, and piercing green eyes.

Height: 6' 6"

Weight: 144 lbs

Gear: The Master Robes of Conjuration along with a variety of spells that can raise the dead (Dead Thrall, Conjure Boneman, etc.) Also a staff given to her by Namira which can summon an undead frostbite spider (which is slightly more powerful than a regular frostbite spider) These spiders are completely white with glowing eyes similar to those of the Draugr.

Champion of Namira

Backstory: She was born in the land of Cyrodiil to a very wealthy couple. She had a proficiency in magic at a very young age and when her parents noticed this they packed her bags and sent her off to the college of Winterhold for training. There she grew to be a powerful mage in the art of conjuration. After ten entire years of study she returned home. When she returned she found her family, and the rest of her town, dead. There bodies were heavily decayed and she suspected that it could have been months since this had happened. Desperate she went back to Winterhold, desperate to find someway to bring her parents back to life. She studied the darkest of magic, forbidden spells that no mortal should ever know. She was a master of death magic. As she slept one night she noticed something, a slug, but not just one slug many slugs. In a grotesque manner they combined into one writhing blob which formed into the shape of a face.

"Hello Gildred, you have mastered my art... join me..."

She gladly did and while in Namira's plane of Oblivion she learned much more. More than most mages could ever dream of.  When the time came she named her her Champion, and she gladly accepted.

Personality: Very bland, shows little emotion except in times of crisis. She is very protective of those she cares about.

Race: Argornian

Appearence: green scaly skin with three horns on his head a long tail with spikes on them and red eyes ((I suck at descriptions sue me))

History: Born in a run down village that was attacked Abraxus decided to run from his home so he wouldn't be killed but was summoned by Talos to heed his call and help dethrone Draxius. ((Im really bad at this also...sorry))

Gear of choice: Dawnbreaker (forgot the name...sue me img-1567742-1-sleep.png) and Dragon armor, no helmet, fire bolt as the only magic spell

 

How he got Dawnbreaker((How i gained it in the game)): He was just wandering around going through caves he found a whit stone and as soon as he picked it up the voice of the deadra goddess(whose name i cant remember...i need to play skyrim again) was heard. He done what he was told which was kill a necromancer and when he finished he earned the blade from the goddess.

 

Chosen Daedra: Meridia

Gender: Male

Appearance: Lanky and somewhat taller than an average Khajiit, with light grey fur.

History: A gifted alchemist, although he mostly uses his talents to produce moonsugar and other drugs. He was born and raised in Elsweyr, but recently moved to the Imperial City for reasons unknown to anyone except perhaps himself. In addition to being an alchemist and drug dealer, he is also a thief (which Khajiit don't necessarily consider a bad thing) and smuggler, usually being the one smuggling drugs to his clients himself. He left his family behind in Elsweyr and rarely speaks of them. Occasionally sells poisons to the Dark Brotherhood.

Gear of choice: Glass armor (no helmet), dual wield ebony longsword and waraxe, glass bow. Being a skilled alchemist, he usually has his weapons poisoned.

Appearance: He is a Cathay-raht. Jaguar-man. He stands 5' 10 with one eye green and the other blue, has all black fur with a solid line of white starting from his shoulder and ends on his face with a small star. His mane is long and wavy. Claws for hands. Build for speed and able to remain hidden

Backstory:Training as a thief he takes jobs to steal from others. He was caught will stealing from a chief master and had to flee to Cyrodiil. While In Cyrodiil he worked as a Thief and a mercenary for hunt. While as a thief he stole magical items and learn to enchant his weapons. So in his spare time he learns how to better enchant and hunt. While on one of his hunts he found a strange statue. He killed a deer in front of it and he could hear Hircine speak to him. He was told if he wanted to be a great hunter he needed to hunt down the great white stag. After hunting the stag in the forest he killled it and was rewarded by Hircine as being one of his hunters.

 

Gear of Choice: He has Hircine's ring (uncursed) but he isn't a werewolf so it doesn't work for him.

He also has the gloves and pants of the Shrouded Armor. He looks to complete his armor set. also has wears the Savior's Hide that was given to him by Hircine.

His main weapon of choice is a Elven Bow that he enchanted himself and Two steel daggers.

 

Chosen Daedra:Hircine.

Willing to enchant other peoples items so he may increase his skill, but only when he wants to. Like to hunt when he is bored.

NOTE: If this rp ends up being popular enough, then me and krein MIGHT decide to make a sequel, and if things go well, maybe even a series, but like I said, it depends on how this rp ends up, so let's do our best and have some fun!

Another thing guys, you can also be creative by making up new relics to keep things interesting.

But again remember, no overpowered gear.

Since Sanguine's Rose is pretty lame, I was thinking about some sort of staff that can magically make someone extremely drunk and/or high. That seems appropriate for Sanguine. I have no clue what I'd call it, though.

Er, I can't do it right now, so do you mind just adding me as a reserve or just copy-pasting Eos' profile over here? That'd be great. Just don't want my spot to be stolen. :-p


Just note that though I chose Boethiah as my daedra, I may switch to Peryite since the gear for Peryite sucked. I mean, Boethiah's did kinda to, but I may switch Just please keep that in mind. XD

 

...well, damn, looks like I was too late. Is it possible I can still sneak in? :c I really want to join this...

Personality: Very bland, shows little emotion except in times of crisis. She is very protective of those she cares about.

Appearance: On the tall side, pale skin, long black hair, and piercing green eyes.

Gear: The Master Robes of Conjuration along with a variety of spells that can raise the dead (Dead Thrall, Conjure Boneman, etc.) Also a staff given to her by Namira which can summon an undead frostbite spider (which is slightly more powerful than a regular frostbite spider) These spiders are completely white with glowing eyes similar to those of the Draugr.

Champion of Namira

Name:Dar'Keziin

Race: Khajiit

Gender: Male

Appearance: Lanky and somewhat taller than an average Khajiit, with light grey fur.

History: A gifted alchemist, although he mostly uses his talents to produce moonsugar and other drugs. He was born and raised in Elsweyr, but recently moved to the Imperial City for reasons unknown to anyone except perhaps himself. In addition to being an alchemist and drug dealer, he is also a thief (which Khajiit don't necessarily consider a bad thing) and smuggler, usually being the one smuggling drugs to his clients himself. He left his family behind in Elsweyr and rarely speaks of them. Occasionally sells poisons to the Dark Brotherhood.

Gear of choice: Glass armor (no helmet), dual wield ebony longsword and waraxe, glass bow. Being a skilled alchemist, he usually has his weapons poisoned.

Appearence: green scaly skin with three horns on his head a long tail with spikes on them and red eyes ((I suck at descriptions sue me))

History: Born in a run down village that was attacked Abraxus decided to run from his home so he wouldn't be killed but was summoned by Talos to heed his call and help dethrone Draxius. ((Im really bad at this also...sorry))

Gear of choice: Dawnbreaker (forgot the name...sue me img-1567742-1-sleep.png) and Dragon armor, no helmet, fire bolt as the only magic spell

 

How he got Dawnbreaker((How i gained it in the game)): He was just wandering around going through caves he found a whit stone and as soon as he picked it up the voice of the deadra goddess(whose name i cant remember...i need to play skyrim again) was heard. He done what he was told which was kill a necromancer and when he finished he earned the blade from the goddess.

 

Chosen Daedra: Meridia

  

Name: Dar Zora Jo'Zujia

Race: Khajit.

Gender: Male 

Appearance: He is a Cathay-raht. Jaguar-man. He stands 5' 10 with one eye green and the other blue, has all black fur with a solid line of white starting from his shoulder and ends on his face with a small star. His mane is long and wavy. Claws for hands. Build for speed and able to remain hidden

Backstory:Training as a thief he takes jobs to steal from others. He was caught will stealing from a chief master and had to flee to Cyrodiil. While In Cyrodiil he worked as a Thief and a mercenary for hunt. While as a thief he stole magical items and learn to enchant his weapons. So in his spare time he learns how to better enchant and hunt. While on one of his hunts he found a strange statue. He killed a deer in front of it and he could hear Hircine speak to him. He was told if he wanted to be a great hunter he needed to hunt down the great white stag. After hunting the stag in the forest he killled it and was rewarded by Hircine as being one of his hunters.

 

Gear of Choice: He has Hircine's ring (uncursed) but he isn't a werewolf so it doesn't work for him.

He also has the gloves and pants of the Shrouded Armor. He looks to complete his armor set. also has wears the Savior's Hide that was given to him by Hircine.

His main weapon of choice is a Elven Bow that he enchanted himself and Two steel daggers.

 

Chosen Daedra:Hircine.

Willing to enchant other peoples items so he may increase his skill, but only when he wants to. Like to hunt when he is bored.

  

Name: Alzack

Race: 3/4 Nord 1/4 Redguard

Gender: Male

Age: 23

Appearance: Despite being more Nord than Redguard, Alzack has dark skin, his grandfather's reguard blood runs heaviest in him. He has ragged short black hair, with a longer braid down the right side of his face.

Height: 6'3"

Weight: 182 lbs.

Gear: Nordic carved armor. Ebony Blade which he wields with one hand.

Champion of Mephala

History: As a youth(16 years) , Alzack was wandering in a ruin, obviously against his family's instructions, and discovered a large broken sword, black as night. As he drew closer to the blade he began to hear whispers, and upon picking it up, he blacked out.

When he awoke, he was standing in his home, covered in blood, and standing above the slain bodies of his family, with the dark sword in his hand, fully restored. Alzack was frightened, and began to cry, until he heard comforting words in his head, the voice of Mephala, disguised as his mother. The voice explained to him that there was no reason to worry, and that there was nothing wrong.

Alzack left his home, the blade strapped to his back, comforted by the words he thought had come from his ascended mother, who's soul resided within the sword he now carried.

 

Personality: Alzack is a nice guy, really, but whenever he becomes close to someone, he looses himself, and when he comes to, they are dead. Slain by his hand, and that of his weapon. Thus, he began to avoid people, not trusting anyone, and not allowing anyone to trust him, in hopes that he will not take any more lives unnecessarily. He began to work as a solo mercenary to earn money to survive, and he has gotten along pretty well so far.

She is thin and quick on her feet, and prefers to keep to the shadows to do her work. While she is more accomplished as a mage than as an assassin, she employs both techniques. Personality wise, she is sharp-minded and quick-witted, but can be temperamental. She faces prejudice in Skyrim due to her race. She is in her early twenties or around there.

Backstory: As a young Dunmer in Morrowind, Eos learned magic very quickly-so quickly, in fact, that she made it her goal to be the greatest mage of all time and to become the Arch-Mage of the College in Skyrim, where she faced much less prejudice. Excelling in all her fields (except Restoration, which she never quite got the hang of), Eos felt prepared to leave the college after her twentieth birthday, and get on with her life.

However, getting a good job when you're an Elf is difficult in Skyrim, and she was forced to resort to stealing, her magical power becoming useless to her in many cases besides Illusion. Unfortunately, she was caught one day, and was forced to flee the scene. The guards of the city pursued her and managed to catch up with her. Trapped in a corner, she grasped at the wall behind her, and found something hard and small-a key. Managing to slip into the shop she was backed up against and escape, she noticed that it was not an average key-and it was not, as the voice of Nocturnal filled her. Convinced she was the blessed of the Night Mistress, she joined the Thieves Guild, and upon showing them the artifact realized that it was stolen from her. Returning it to its proper place, Nocturnal raised her to join the Nightingales, and became a servant to Nocturnal forevermore. She now carries out her mistresses bidding without hesitation. Though the night is now her veil, she still finds her magic is handy, but she does not follow that path any longer.

Gear of Choice: Besides her Nightingale Armour, she uses the Nightingale Blade and Bow. She also has a ring that increases her magical regeneration and an amulet that increases her mana.

Alright, so after some talk, Ragestar and I have decided to screw the rules and forget about the seven member limit. All of you that have applied are accepted :D!

We'll be facing different "bosses" now that all Daedra are available to be chosen as your character's lord. Still, you'll need to explain why your particular Prince sided with the mortals instead of remaining neutral and stuff, and it better be reasonable too. Molag Bal isn't going to side with you or Tamriel because he felt pity!

No, you're just the champion to Meridia. So yeah you know, having daedric artifacts and high leveled gear is totally unacceptable.

 

Of course you're allowed to tongue.png! This won't be like the usual Elder Scrolls RP where you start out as some lowly individual. You'll already be starting out as someone adept in whatever it is they do. How else would a Daedra choose yo to be their champion?

 

As for when the RP will start... either later today or sometime tomorrow, but soon!

Judging by your story I'm assuming that your character would have Nocturnal as his mistress...

Nocturnal has been taken unfortunately, do you think maybe you could rework your character to serve a different Daedra?

I would just like to let everyone know, that due to the time limit on my computer, and my inability to use this account on mobile (dont ask me why, I dont know.) I have made an alternate account named Erperler so I can continue to participate in this RP past when the time on my computer runs out each day. (Which for today, is very soon.)

So once I get enough posts on that account, I will use that to post in the RP so dont be alarmed when that account uses my character. Okay?

I'm already hopelessly behind in this, and that combined with several other issues (mainly me having too many other RPs I need to focus on) means I'm going to have to drop out. Sorry about that.

 

On a slightly happier note, I suppose that means someone else can be Sanguine's champion if they want. I think he'd be one of the most likely to get involved, so it would be a shame for no-one to use him.
