"It tastes of food," she replies. "I've noticed many of the ponies on this ship say my name with an accent. Is it common to shorten my name to Lythe instead of Lyth where you come from?" She looks genuinely interested. Then her belly rumbled and she decided she wanted some real food.

“Cosmo, sweetie, did you just get new weapons and not even greet me?” Coral turned to Lyth. “And don’t worry sweetheart I was just kidding, I wouldn’t want one of my favorite ponies hexed. Here, take this for your hangover.” Coral handed Lyth a plant wrap. “It’s an old medicinal remedy.”

"I greeted you when I got my food! Sweet Luna, am I so stealthy ponies can't detect when I'm talking to them? And yes, these ate new," he said showing off his daggers, "As I told you, the Black Swans were destroyed in the Nexus, so I asked Luna for some daggers to replace them, and a white version of the metal for this!" He pulled Altair out of it's sheathe and showed it to his friends. "The blade is as long as my back now and thinner. I can also tilt to reflect moonlight, which makes it stand out in poorly lit areas, and thus make the Black Feathers," he gestured to his daggers, "much less noticeable as they're being thrust at an opponent at high speeds."

Swordpoint looked around but found no sign of the weapons specialist. Well... I suppose I could eat for now.

The door leading below deck opened and Rainbow stepped through. She trotted up to Swordpoint. "Hey, is there anything to eat, yet? I'm starving!"

Swordpoint motioned below deck. "Yes, I believe there is a mess hall below the deck. I suppose I should join you. I cannot find the weapons expert."

The two of them went below deck and found their way to the mess hall. They sat down at a table next to Cosmo and Lyth. "Cosmo," Swordpoint asked, "have you seen the weapons specialist? I must speak with him."

Rainbow looked at Coral. "Hey, you're the cook, right? I'll take a plate of anything you're serving!"

“It tastes of food. Could you find a worse thing to say to a cook? I am insulted.” Coral turned to Cosmo. “Sorry sweetheart, but I guess you really are too stealthy. You slid that in there without my notice.” Coral turned and was surprised to see rainbow staring at her. “Oh!! One of the elements of harmony! Well I suppose you could take whatever, there is practically anything!”

Selythria tilts her head and nods to the door, "That is Swordpoint, yes? The pony you told me about earlier?" she asks Cosmo. "I assume it is so because he is with Rainbow Dash. And I think she'll find herself getting seasick if she eats to much." She reaches into the pockets of her cloak and brings out some berries. She chews on them for a while. Around the berries, she turns to Coral, "Many apologies. It was fine cuisine, but I do not know what to say. Most of what I eat are berries, and it was neither sweet nor bitter. I was unaware that such a term was insulting." She blushed and tucked her head ashamedly.

Rainbow smiled heartily. "Alright!" She gathered a plate of hayfries and a rose and daisy salad. "This looks delicious!"

Swordpoint made himself a small plate of haybrisket, which he ate quietly.

Rainbow, on the other hand, ate very quickly and noisily. "So," she said with a mouthful of food, "that's that Lyth girl, right?" She pointed to Selythria. "She doesn't look as tough as Radio did... I hope Radio knew what she was talking about."

"Keep complaining and I'll some for her," Cosmo joked, "She was talking about your medicine. Also, I suppose stealth is a mixed blessing, it all depends on present company. Being ignored by allies is no fun but obliviousness is one of my favorite traits to find in an enemy."

Cosmo was slightly amused by the question, "You can't find the Minotaur? I haven't kept track of him so sorry, I'm not sure where he is." Hearing Rainbow's comment Cosmo show her his blades handle, Lyth's charm hanging from it. "I think Radio did us a favor sending our new friend. This charm has the power to negate magic cast at me, the one threat I suffer from when I use my Ghost Form spell."

She continues to eat her berries, studying Rainbow. "It's alright Cosmo. I know I'm not strong. But I am a preistess; I have other uses, such as luck." She smiles smally and gets up. "If you'll excuse me, now that I'm sober I have duties," she says, eyes down. She walks out of the mess hall and onto the deck.

Swordpoint perked up at once. "Did you say 'minotaur?'" He examined the room warily. "... I suppose I should withhold my judgment for now. Do you trust him?"

Rainbow rolled her eyes. "Uh, I don't think he'd just be sitting here and talking about the guy all casually if he didn't. Sheesh, what've you got against minotaurs, anyway?"

"In Ponynesia, a great deal of them worked for Omnia," Swordpoint explained. "They were truly bloodthirsty monsters... always eager to maim and kill."

"Uh, stuff is different here," Rainbow replied with a bored expression.

Equinox was spending time shooting down seagulls out on deck practicing. "I swear I need a better target to shoot...seagulls are just to easy" Equinox said as he shot another one down. "Try shooting a pony it its eye thats a challenge" Deranged said. "That might happen when we are over seas"

Sole was relaxing quietly, when he suddenly heard gunshots ring out around him. With a sigh of annoyance, sole looked down to see equinox practicing "hey equinox, mind keeping that down? I'm trying to relax before we set sail dude!" He grumbled, flying down to his friend "besides, shooting at useless birds is a waste of ammo." He said jokingly.

Crimson chuckled, "don't worry brother, the minataurs name is raze and don't worry, I may not be the best at telepathy, but from what I could get from his memories, he is a very trustworthy person, so I wouldn't worry about him. If you can't find him now, then maybe you could try looking for him later tonight, that's when I'm calling all the crew pn deck to prep the ship to set sail, then we can REALLY start this voyage!" Said crimson with a grinn and excitment in his eyes.

((Sorry justin, I haven't been able to get a hold of PS3gamer, maybe he'll be on later.....if not, then just say that swordpoint got his answer from raze offscreen or somthing...))

"the ammo is custom made by me I can always make more" Equinox said as he put his rifle away. "Im getting tired anyways...see you in the morning Sole" Equinox said as he went back down to the crew quarters. "Ha still the same old Sole...thought I need to make sure he's not near me when im talking I hate getting slapped...or punched by him" Deranged said

After equinox and deranged left, Sole flew back up to the mast and tried to sleep, but found that almost impossible "at least those energy bursts stopped..." he mumbled, as he flew back down to the deck, quickly going to the kitchen "hey coral, I'm kinda bored, got anything I could help ya with?" He asked.

"Very well," Swordpoint replied. He finished his meal and stood from the table. "I wish to examine the route ahead to assist in plotting our course. I will be departing for a little while to check the weather and sea conditions."

Rainbow smirked. "Going on a flight, huh? I am there!"

Swordpoint held up a hoof. "This is not for pleasure, Rainbow. I have heard only rumors of the ocean, but not one of them was positive. I wish to have as much knowledge available to us as possible."

Rainbow pouted. "Fine! But I'm still going to come. You know I can't pass up a good chance to fly!"

Crimson smirked, "good idea brother, after all, if we don't have a set course then were not going to get very far are we? Asked crimson with a chuckle before turning to rainbow, "swordpoint is right dash, the sea can be a very dangerous place, escpecielly for newcomers, so please be carful out on the ocean..." said crimson calmly as he took as swig of water.

Swordpoint gave Crimson a nod and headed above deck. Rainbow followed him, muttering under her breath. "We shall travel several miles out to determine the area with the calmest seas and best weather conditions," Swordpoint told Rainbow. "This may be a long flight, so if we require rest, we can use the clouds to stop temporarily."

Rainbow waved her hoof, her expression dull. "Yeah, yeah, I got it. Let's go, already!"

Swordpoint spread his wings and took flight, with Rainbow close behind.

"So, uh..." Rainbow began, "What was it like... y'know... being dead?"

Swordpoint tried to remember the sensation he'd felt both times that he'd passed on. "Well... the first time, when I was absorbed into the nexus... It was as if I was one with everything. All of the universe resonated within me. As for my death at Rail's hooves... it was peaceful." He smiled. "I felt as if my work was complete, and that I had finally found long-awaited rest."

Rainbow hung her head. "Wow... so, uh... I guess you kinda liked that better, then, huh...?"

Swordpoint glanced at her, his eyes wide. "Of course not, Rainbow! Because deep down, I knew that my work was not complete. And also... you were not there by my side."

Rainbow blushed. "Heh... I love ya, Swordpoint."

"As I do you, Rainbow," Swordpoint said with a smile. He looked out at the vast ocean sprawled before him. "Incredible... Water as far as the eye can see! To think that this wonder has existed my whole life, and yet I only now have beheld its beauty..."

Rainbow couldn't help but smile. I can't believe how absolutely sweet he is... Even all that fighting couldn't completely wreck his mind. She moved closer to him until their wingtips were touching.

Swordpoint could see for miles, finding mostly clear skies. There were several patches of rough water of which he made a mental note. The scattered rain showers were very sparse, and he noted their locations.

Crimson cleared his throat as he stood on the deck of the ship before using his magic to amplify his voice to travel throughout his ship, "attention everyone, get up onto the deck of the ship, after a quick headcount, we will finally set sail..." said crimson with a loud booming voice.

Equinox got up from sleeping. "Seriously...couldn't have waited a little longer" Deranged said. "Listen just be calm and dont piss off Crimson alright" Equinox said as headed up to the deck. "I wanted to sleep a bit longer though...man I hate this idea already" Deranged said to Equinox

After hearing Captain Crimson make his announcement, Max quickly headed to the deck of the ship. The last thing he wanted to do was show up late for the headcount and cause a setback. He didn't want any trouble with any of the other crew members, especially if he was going to spend so much time at sea with them. Max always did whatever he had to do in order to avoid confrontation.

Cosmo was pondering his magic uses and spells when he heard Crimson's call. A moment later Cosmo, in a seated position, teleported himself to the deck and called out, "Here!" but it was clear his mind was elsewhere. Cosmo was thinking about how several unicorns devote their studies to a portion of their powers rather than all of them. "Stealth, movement, and combat enhancements are the only powers I really use... Do I have any other spell affinities that would be useful?" Cosmo shook his head and sighed, too tired to really think about the concept. Edited by TheBreech

Lyth moved from meditating in a corner to meditating next to Cosmo. She was chanting something under her breath, but it wasn't really clear what it was. She was, however, holding onto her own necklace, so she was probably doing her holy duties, and was doing something that couldn't really be stopped just then.

Sole sighed as he heard the captain's voice boom throughout the ship, with a sigh, he headed for the deck "I'll help ya after this little meeting, okay coral?" He said in a bored tone, as he went above deck to see most of the crew already there "well, looks like the gangs all here..." he said sarcasically, as he flew to the mast.

"Coming!" Coral yelled as she heard the captain's voice. She quickly turned off the cooking appliences and ran onto the deck to find that she was almost the last one there. "Well this is embarassing. Captain you must forgive me, i was tryind to show sole a trick i can do."

Swordpoint and Rainbow landed gently on the deck. Swordpoint looked around for Crimson and approached him. ”Crimson,” he said calmly, ”I have plotted a course. The seas are calmest to the southwest, so we should begin in that direction. Do you possess a sea chart?”

Rainbow approached Cosmo. ”Hey, I think Swordpoint and Crimson wanna talk to you. You should go see them.”
