No, you don't have to. ^^ Still accepting signups; btw, since the meeting has already happened, if you join at this late stage, you can always join with the group on the way, or be a pony trapped in the village. I'm going to have a couple of characters inside the village as well so that everypony can interact. Couldn't post yesterday cuz the forums went all screwball on me!

Just to let you know, the *meanwhile* in the RP is NOT a screen change. It's what's happening inside the village at this moment. So if you have a character who's in the village, post now.

Sweet! :) Both are accepted.

 

Since the group will enter the village tomorrow, could you have your characters be inside the village? I have an OC, Shadow Star (profile below) in the village so you could post your intros right away without having to wait cuz my OC will interact with yours. Since the others will be inside the village soon, they'll meet with the others soon enough. PS your OCs are so colourful! :)

Sure. But before I do could you fill me in to what has happened so far? I went to read the thread but it's five pages....

Basically, the group went to see Celestia, who sent a message out to certain ponies telling them to see her. She told them about the village, they started to travel thru the Everfree Forest. Sanura, Minty, Crimson and North have scouted out the area and felt a feeling of wrongness emanating from the village, tho they didn't enter. Clover and Lost put up wards all round the camp so that it would be safe from the timber wolves they heard howling. Right now, they are preparing to eat supper and then sleep. They will enter the village tomorrow.

 

Inside the village, Shadow Star is basically just existing. She's keeping a look out for her personified fear, a giant snake. All the ponies inside the village do not age cuz of the curse on the village.

Question...

Is it the same foal who is found everyday for the botched ritual or is it somepony new every day? 

Because I'm still not sure how to start with Sunset.

Accepted. Remember that from now on, all new ponies accepted must be trapped inside the village! Your character's backstory makes it seem that he'd fit in just fine. :)

The botched ritual is basically on a loop of repetition, if that makes sense; it plays out the same way every time now that the village is cursed. So yeah, it would be the same foal every single time. Hope that helps.

What if she was the foal that escaped? It's fine if you don't want her to be or already have the foal set, it's just an idea.

That would be fine' the foal was to have died, which triggered the curse, but she could have been ressurrected afterwards. :)

hi 

i will be away on 3 camps over august two of them are five days long and the third only three there is one week between each camp and i will be active as much as i can when back but does this mean i should leave the rp or am i okay to stay in it but be inactive for the days that i will be on camps?

You can stay in but just post whenever you can. :) I know real life sometimes interferes with RP, so don't leave! Just make a post whenever you can and your place in the RP is saved.

Very very confused.

It is, but since the village is in a time loop as far as the sacrifice goes, the foal is ressurected every day, to die at the end.
