Minty looked up and blushed. "You-you noticed me?" Minty fondled with her mane. "Nopony ever noticed me before.. I'm just so quiet.." Minty cleared her throat. "U-uh, yes. they're very. Lively. They seem like a outgoing group of ponies. They're.. nice." Minty stuttered shyly.

Remmy nodded towards Eve. "Right-o!" She trotted merrily towards the tree that held the love fruit. She looked back at Violet Strike and giggled. "Thank you! Yours is lovely as well!" She turned back towards the tree and then stopped. "Um... Eve? Is there something I can put this on?"

Violet smiled. "It's...nice to meet you, Remmy. Your mane is beautiful." She said, admiring Remmy's pale green mane...Violet love green...one of the reasons she liked Eve so much. "My name is Violet Strike...don't take my last name literally." She said, giggling as she looked at the tree Evergreen told them to get. "Thanks for letting me help Eve...still not used to being around so many ponies." She said, slowly approaching the tree.

"Be especially careful not to touch the fruit," she said, before she charged at the stump. The stump turned out not to be quite so innocent, as several thorny tendrils emerged from a hole in the middle and attempted to grapple with Eve. However, she knew what she was doing, however, because with a few nimble dodges and strategic jabs of her horn, the yateveo was subdued, and no more than a stump again. Eve had a small gash in her ankle from the clash, but other than that, she acted as though she had done nothing more exciting than pour a bowl of cereal.

Dusk chuckled softly, thinking to himself 'well, that's a switch...' 

"I uh, I was talking about the fish" he laughed, pointing a hoof at the water. "But it's true, they are indeed lively, we just came over here for some...space. I uh, we don't do too well with groups." he looked away slightly, embarrassed that he's already had to half-lie to the mare.

Amour let out a surprised shriek when a creature entered the garden. "A-A-A SNAKE!" She squeaked, and quickly crossed to the opposite side of the garden. She didn't mean to be completely and utterly rude but she couldn't help it if her number one phobia was snakes, could she?

In her hurry to back away from the snake pony creature she smacked into a familiar blue stallion. "Blue Moon!" She exclaimed.

Remmy watched as Eve subdeued the stump. It seemed so odd how something so small could be so vicious and dangerous. "The tree. Is there something I can put the tree on." Remmy noticed the gash on Eve's leg and gasped. As a medicine pony, she tended to over react to wounds. "Oh Eve you need to get that patched up! You might get a infection of some kind. I'm sure I can whip something up pretty quickly..."

Violet slithered over to help Remmy with the tree, blushing slightly at the mares compliment. "Here, I can carry it...if you just make sure it doesn't eat me or something." She said, eyeing the fruit on the tree as she leaned down and grabbed the pot the tree was in with her hooves. Violet let go as Remmy gasped. She quickly looked around to see the cash on Eve's leg. "Oh, Eve...are you alright?" She asked, suddenly rather worried. "Those...stumps...aren't poisonous are the-" She was cut off as somepony screamed...she sighed and glanced over...there was always somepony who did that wherever she went.
She rolled her eyes and looked back at Eve...now a little grumpy. "Are you okay?"

Remmy giggled, her attention pulled from Eve's wound. "Nothing's gonna eat you silly! But I wouldn't exactly recommend touching the fruits. Hehe." She laughed nervously. Remmy was afraid of several of Eve's plants. But this one shouldn't be a problem. She walked over and also helped pick up the plant.

((It's smallish, but not uprooted. Eve will take care of that.))

 

Eve turned, and said, "Well, it's not a big deal." She poked at the gash in her leg, and said, "I'll be fine. At least it didn't get any slobber in it." A cerise magical aura surrounded her horn, and the stump, which was fully planted in the ground, rose tenderly, as if it were a newborn child, out of the ground. A clump of dirt accompanied the roots, and she carefully maneuvered it through the air.

"Oh, Cloudsdale?" He had somehow not noticed the fact that the mare was indeed a pegasus, and passed a glance to her wings as he shook her hoof gingerly. "I live in Ponyville, next to Pinkie Pie above Sugarcube corner." he laughed, thinking about just how similar their situations where. "We don't get out much, so...this is a nice change of pace."

She shook her head and slithered over to help with the other tree. "Hey Eve...I think after this...I should maybe be heading home. I'll still help you guys though." She said, backing away slightly as Eve used her magic on the tree. "Suppose that works too..."

Blue Moon was just standing off to the side, enjoying his solitude, when a familiar face smacked right into him. He almost fell over from impact, but managed to keep his balance.

 

"Ah!" he exclaimed. "Amour? Um, are you okay? I didn't know you were invited too."

 

Blue Moon sighed with relief. He at least had one friend at this party.

Dusks ears flopped when he heard "bully" being mentioned. Being a problem he'd suffered with in the past he could sympathise. "I'm...sorry." was about all he could say on the matter as he looked back out into the water. "There's nothing wrong with being quiet though, is there? I mean...I don't exactly like to talk much, but I don't like being rude."

Amour squealed with joy and gave Blue Moon a one hoofed hug. "I'm fine! Just fine, except..." She glanced around and lowered her voice. "There is a snake...And you know, I hate snakes. But I don't want to be rude, but I really don't like snakes." She stressed. She shuffled her feet as she debated on whether she should suck up her fear and being a grown mare and approach the snake pony or just stay far far away from it-him-her.

Draco was off near the lake practicing a song. "Oh boy I'm alittle rusty," Draco said to himself as he looked at the lake. "Hmm well now do I see three ponies there," he thought to himself. He began to sing a sweet song as he smiled to himself. The song was the one he used to sing to Eve.

Arctic Frost grumbled as he trotted towards the Everfree Forest. This morning hadn't been too kind to him, and was more of a rude awakening than anything else. His sister, Crossfade, had woken him from a perfectly awesome dream, just to thrust a piece of paper under his nose. A garden party? Since when was he invited to a garden party? The white filly had chuckled, pointing to the name at the top of the sheet. "It's my friend, Eve. We met in Ponyville a while ago, she's a pretty awesome gardener. Yesterday she told me about this party she was having, and asked if I wanted to go."

 

"But don't you have a concert tonight?"

 

"Exactly. That's why I told her how you play guitar and how you would go in my place."

 

"Wait, wha-"

 

Then she pushed him out the front door without a word. Frost sighed, pulling a pair of silver and blue shades from the guitar case on his back and placing them on his face. He didn't hate his sister for this, but it was...definitely out of the ordinary. Arriving at Eve's garden, he grinned as he saw the mare herself uprooting a stump in front of the other guests. Not wanting to bother her, the pegasus elected to survey the scenery, namely the lake and the fish swimming inside of it.

He started chewing on his lower lip, already running out of things to say, he didn't want to come off as strange, and had to think of something quickly. "So uh, how did you get here? I mean...invite, how did you get the invite? From our host? Hostess?" he had to pause for a moment, and then started speaking slower as if he was trying to understand his own words as they passed his lips "How - do you know - the hostess. There. Sorry."

Dusk simply laughed, before shooting a look that spoke for him to accompany his words. Still laughing slightly, he replied with "We live next door to Pinkie Pie, you don't think i'd have the chance to miss out on an invite if I wanted to do you?" He smiled cheerfully, not quite realising just how long his eyes had been lingering on the mare. "I...just realised, I never introduced myself did I?" he shook his head, giving himself a firm facehoof afterwards. "I'm terribly sorry, my name's...well you can call me Dusk. I mean, why not, everyone else does." 

 

(OoC: And yes, he is supposed to be saying "we" and "I" interchangeably and where they might not make sense used together)

Evergreen nodded shortly, then paused in her tracks. "Wait, you're leaving?" She looked around at the naga indignantly. "You can't leave yet! You only just got here!" Rolling her eyes, she led them into the maze, and could be heard whispering. After several, slow moments, the hedges began to part, allowing the three of them direct passage to where Eve was storing her most dangerous plants.

Draco's song ended with him smiling. He had an audience and he would entertain them. He began to sing once more a more upbeat tune. He began to dance slightly to the tune of the song. He leveled a Come Hither stare to Amour. He felt the passion he felt once for singing swing reignite as it flowed through him. He'll entertain these ponies to the best of his abilities.
